Unpack the product contents and check to make sure they are complete
and free from transport damages. If the device is damaged, do not use it (!),
instead contact the customer service department.
Inserting / changing the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment by pushing the battery compartment
cover towards the arrow (down) and removing it.
2. If necessary, remove the used batteries and insert two new 1.5 V
type AA batteries. In the process, make sure that the polarity is
correct (+ / –).
3. Close the battery compartment by inserting the cover in the device
from below and sliding it up and over the compartment. The cover
must audibly lock into place.
NOTE: If the device begins to lose power, replace the batteries in time.
Use
TIP: For hygienic reasons, only one person should use an adapter.
Otherwise, the adapter should be cleaned thoroughly before being passed
on to others.
1. Place an adapter on the suction nozzle.
2. Carefully insert the suction nozzle in your ear.
3. Set the ON / OFF switch to the ON position.
4. Carefully move the device back and forth in a circular motion.
5. After cleaning your ears or if the adapter used is plugged, set the
ON / OFF switch to the OFF position and clean the adapter and the
device thoroughly.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION: Do not use any abrasive or scouring cleaners or cleaning
pads to clean the device and the accessories.
1. Turn the device off (ON / OFF switch to the OFF position).
2. Pull the adapter off of the suction nozzle and clean all used adapters
with clean, warm water and a small amount of mild detergent.
3. Pull the collecting container off of the device and clean it with clean,
warm water and a small amount of mild detergent.
4. Remove the fi lter and clean it with the enclosed cleaning brush. If
necessary, you can also clean the fi lter with clean, warm water and a
small amount of mild detergent.
5. If necessary wipe the housing off with a soft, damp cloth. Dry it off
with a soft cloth.
6. Let the device and the accessories dry completely before you
reassemble the device and stow everything in an clean, dry area that is
not accessible to children and animals.
