Intended Use

• This article is intended to be used for trimming body hair.

• The article is for personal household use only and is not in-

tended for commercial applications.

• The article should only be used as described in these instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

■ Risk of injury and suffocation! Keep the article and the pack-

aging material away from children and animals.

■ Children must not play with the article!

■ Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries can be deadly

if swallowed. Keep battery and articles out of the reach of chil-

dren and animals. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical as-

sistance immediately.

■ Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery leaks, avoid

physical contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves

if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected area

with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as

soon as possible.

■ Danger of injury! Do not exert too much pressure with the ar-

ticle!

■ Do not use the article on:

– open wounds, skin infections, inﬂ ammations, eczema, pso-

riasis or rosacea;

– sensitive skin, any skin irritation, swelling, sunburn, rash,

burns or warts.

■ If you are unsure about whether an application is suitable for

your skin, consult a doctor if necessary.

■ Test the trimmer ﬁ rst on your arm or leg. If any skin irritations

occur, stop using it!

■ Danger of injury! Make sure that the article is switched off be-

fore an attachment or shaver head is changed.

■ Remove a dead battery from the article immediately. Clean the

contacts before a new battery is inserted.

■ Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

■ Take the battery out of the article when they is dead or if you will

not be using the article for a prolonged period. This will prevent

any damage that might occur if a battery leaks.

■ Protect the article from heat, naked ﬂ ames, direct sunlight, ex-

treme temperatures, wet conditions and collisions.

■ Never immerse the article in liquids. It is only protected against

splashing.

Check the article for any transport damage. If you ﬁ nd any damage

to the article, do not use it (!), but contact our customer service

department.

Inserting / Changing Batteries

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the

article and on the battery are clean, and clean them if necessary.

1. Open the battery compartment: Pull

the lower cap off downwards.

2. Insert 1 x 1.5 V batteries, AA type

(not supplied with the article) into

the battery compartment. Pay atten-

tion to the correct polarity (+/–)!

3. Place the cap on, it must be heard to engage in place.

Replace the battery when the power starts to wane.

Tip: Use your free hand to

smooth down the skin to obtain

the cleanest possible result.

Cleaning and Storage

1. Make sure that the article is switched off.

2. Turn the shaver head counter clock-

wise and remove.

3. Use the cleaning brush that is sup-

plied to remove hair and dust.

4. Tighten the shaver head clockwise.

5. Clean the article with a slightly damp cloth and, if necessary,

a little mild cleaning agent. Do not use any caustic or abrasive

cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage the surface.

6. Store the article in a dry, clean place that is protected from di-

rect sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-

ner. It should not be disposed of in the normal household

waste. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for used electrical

and electronic devices.

The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the ar-

ticle and disposed of separately from the article. To pro-

tect the environment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable

batteries may not be disposed of with normal household

waste, but must be taken to suitable collection points.
