Explanation of the Symbols and Signal Words
Danger symbol: This symbol indicates dan-
gers of injury. Read through the associated
safety instructions carefully and follow them.
Circuit symbol for direct current

Intended Use
• This device is intended for cleansing, massaging
and applying cream to the face. It can be used with
cosmetic products such as cleansing gels, peels
and face creams.
• For reasons of hygiene an individual cleansing
attachment should not be used by several people
at the same time.
• The device is for personal domestic use only and is
not suitable for commercial applications.
• The device should only be used as described in
these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be
improper.
Safety Instructions
WARNING – Danger of Injury!
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
■ The device is not a toy!
■ Danger of burns from battery acid!
Batteries
can be deadly if swallowed. Keep the battery and
the device out of the reach of children and animals.
If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance
immediately.
■ Danger of burns from battery acid! If a battery
leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid.
Wear protective gloves if necessary. If you touch
battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant
fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as
soon as possible.
■ This device should not be used by people (including
children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties
or who do not have adequate experience and /
or knowledge of such devices, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety,
or have received instructions from such a person on
how to use the device.
■ The device should not be used on or in the case of:
– wounds
– skin infections
– sore areas of skin
– eczema
– swelling
– psoriasis
– abnormal changes in the skin
– skin diseases (neurodermatitis, rosacea etc.)
– skin irritations
– sunburn
– a rash
– warts
If you are unsure whether the device may be used,
consult a doctor.
■ Do not use the device if it is damaged. Before each
use, check whether the device and the attachments
are in good condition. If there is any damage or
wear this could lead to injury.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Use only the battery type specifi ed in the “Technical
Data”. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).
■ Take the battery out of the device when it is dead
or if you will not be using the device for a prolonged
period. This will prevent any damage that might
occur if a battery leaks.
■ Remove a dead battery from the device immediately.
■ The battery must not be charged or reactivated in
any way, it must not be disassembled, thrown into a
fi re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.
■ Never immerse the device in water or other liquids!
The battery compartment must not get wet.
■ Make sure that the device cannot fall into water
or other liquids. Never use while bathing or
showering!
■ Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, direct
sunlight, sub-zero temperatures and impact.
■ In the event of damage / faults, switch the device off
immediately.
■ Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Do not
try to repair it yourself or to replace any individual
parts. In the event of any damage, please contact
our customer service department.
