Overview

VIVOTEK IP8162/62P are part of the SUPREME series product line offering 1080p HD

resolution with superb image quality� The camera can capture a more comprehensive view than

a standard VGA camera, signicantly reducing the number of cameras required. It is especially

suitable for monitoring wide open spaces such as building entrances, airports, or applications

requiring accurate identication.

The IP8162/62P employ many advanced features to allow users to fully enjoy the high denition

video� With high performance H�264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology, the camera

offers high-quality video in full HD @ 30fps with a minimum of bandwidth consumption� The

Video Cropping feature allows a user to only transfer user-dened regions for viewing instead of

an entire scene, which can also be used to optimize bandwidth and enhance storage efciency.

The ePTZ function enables users to zoom in and focus on a region of interest in the camera

view with only a few clicks, providing an additional level of image enhancement�

Additional value-added functions that give users more flexibility and efficiency of use include

WDR Enhancement, which allows users to identify image details in extremely bright and dark

environments� The Focus Assist button can aid an installer to precisely adjust the camera� When

pressing the Focus Assist button on the camera unit, an indicator will be displayed on screen

with detailed focusing information, which will vary in accordance with the manual adjustment�

Moreover, holding down the button will zoom in on the target area for ne tuning, resulting in

better usability and picture clarity� The IP8162P model comes with an advanced P-Iris lens,

which controls the iris opening with extreme precision at an optimal level at all times via the

built-in stepper motor, resulting in superior sharpness and depth of eld as well as image quality.

As with all VIVOTEK true day/night cameras, the IP8162/62P feature a removable IR-cut lter,

maintaining clear images 24 hours a day� Together with WDR Enhancement, users can identify

image details in extremely bright as well as dark environments� Also featuring a myriad of other

high-end features such as SD/SDHC card slot, PoE, multiple streams, and the included 32-

CH recording software, the IP8162/62P is indisputably the top choice for reliable and high

performance megapixel surveillance�
