Softwareinstallation
1.InserttheCDintotheCD-ROMofyourcomputer.
2.The installation will start automatically. If not, please go to your CD-ROM directory and open the
installationfile“autorun.exe”.
3.SelectyourdesiredlanguagefromGerman,EnglishandFrench.
4.Follow theinstructionsonthedialogbox,selectthe destinationfortheinstallationandcompletethe
installation.
5.Forfurtherinformation,pleaserefertotheoperatinginstructionsontheCDprovided.
Note:ItisavailabletokeepsoftwareupdatetothelatestversionasVoltsoftprogramisrunningandinter-
net access is connected; or check the latest version information of Voltsoft update via

Apartfromoccasionalcleaningandbatteryreplacements,themeasurementdevicerequiresnoservicing.
Thebatterychangeisdescribedbelow.

Cleaning
Alwaysobservethefollowingsafetyinstructionsbeforecleaningthedevice:

(unlessthiscanbedonewithouttools).
Beforecleaningorrepairs,aconnectedelectricdevicemustbedisconnectedfrom
themeasurementdeviceandthemeasurementdeviceitselfdisconnectedfromthe
mainssocket.
Donotuseanycarbon-containingcleaningagentsorpetrol,alcoholortheliketocleantheproduct.These
couldcorrodethesurfaceofthemeasuringinstrument.Thefumesarefurthermoreahealthhazardandare
explosive.Moreover, you shouldnotusesharp-edgedtools,screwdriversormetalbrushesor similarfor
cleaning.
Tocleanthedeviceorthedisplay,useacleanlint-freeanti-staticanddrycleaningcloth.
