Cleaning the seatbelts
Use cleaning agents and car care products
recommended by Volvo. Clean regularly, and
deal with stains straight away. Vacuuming is
important prior to using cleaning agents.
Use water and a synthetic detergent. A special
textile cleaning agent is available from Volvo
retailers. Ensure that the seatbelt is dry before
allowing it to retract.

Use cleaning agents and car care products
recommended by Volvo. Clean regularly, and
deal with stains straight away. Vacuuming is
important prior to using cleaning agents.
Remove inlaid carpets for separate cleaning of
the floor carpet and the inlaid carpets. Each
inlay mat is secured with pins.
1. Remove the inlay mat by taking hold of
the inlay mat at each pin and lifting the
mat straight up.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and
dirt.
NOTE
The inlay mats must not be swung around
without care or hit against objects to
remove dirt since this can crack the inlay
mats.
3. A special textile cleaner is recommended
for stains on the floor mat after vacuum-
ing. Use cleaning agent recommended by
Volvo.
4. After cleaning, fit the inlay mat in place by
pressing it in at each pin.
