To keep this product working well and looking good, follow these guidelines:

fluorescent lamps).
• DO NOT expose it to direct sunlight or moisture.
• Avoid dropping the product or treating it roughly.
• Clean with a soft damp cloth.
• DO NOT immerse the parent unit and the baby unit in water and do not clean them under running wa ter .
• DO NOT use cleaning spray or liquid cleaners.
• Make sure the baby unit and parent unit are dry before you connect them to the mains again.
When you are not going to use the baby monitor for some time, store the parent unit, the baby unit and the
adaptors in a cool and dry place.
Below are the questions most frequently asked about the baby monitor.
Why doesn’t the POWER
light on the bab y unit turn on
when I switch on the units?
Perhaps the baby unit is not connect ed to the power supply . Connect the bab y unit to
power supply. The baby unit turns on.
Why doesn’t the POWER
light on the par ent unit
turn on when I switch on
the units?
Perhaps the batteries of the parent unit are depleted and the parent unit is not connected
to power supply . Connect the par ent unit t o power supply and charge the par ent unit’s
batteries. The parent unit turns on and establishes connection with the baby unit.
Why does the baby
monitor no t respond
normally?
T ry the following (in the or der listed) f or common cur e:
1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.
2. Re move th e bat te ri es fr om th e pa ren t uni t.
3. Co nn ec t th e ba by uni t to the p ower s up ply a ga in . The b aby un it t urn s on .

5. Wait for the parent unit to synchronize with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute for
this to take place.

Why does the baby
monitor pr oduce a
feedback?
The parent unit and baby unit may be too close to each o ther.
• Move the parent unit a way fr om the baby unit until the noise stops; OR
• Turn down the volume of your parent unit.
Why does the parent unit
beep?
The parent unit beeps three times every 30 seconds when the baby unit is out of r ange.
Mov e the parent units closer t o the baby unit (but not less than 1 metre ).
The parent unit may not hav e enough charge for the parent unit to perform normally .
Charge the ba ttery in the par ent unit f or at leas t 30 minutes.
Why don’t I hear a sound/
Why can’t I hear my bab y
cry?
Make sur e that both bab y unit and parent unit ar e on. If you see the visual sound indicators
light up, but there is no sound, then you may hav e muted the v olume or set it to a low er
level. Adjust the v olume to a higher le vel.
If the visual sound indicators do no t light up, and you canno t hear any sound, it is because
the sound is too low for the baby unit to det ect. This is normal. P lace the baby unit at least
1 metre aw ay fr om y our baby .
Why does the CHARGING
light on the par ent unit
flash?
If the parent unit is po wered b y batteries, the parent unit beeps twice ev ery 10 minutes
and the CHARGING light flashes in r ed when the battery is low . Connect the par ent unit
to the pow er supply and charge the battery for at least 30 minut es.

The baby unit may be out of r ange. Mov e the parent units closer to the baby unit (but not
