Charge the parent unit battery
When you have connected the parent unit
and installed its battery for the first time or
after power outage, the parent unit powers on
automatically.

T est y our baby monitor
You may test the baby monitor before initial
use, and at regular times thereafter.
• For hearing protection, make sure the
parent unit is more than 6.5 feet (2 metres)
away from the baby unit. If you hear any
feed bac k, move th e parent un it fur th er until
the nois e stops. You can also press on
the parent unit to lower or mute the noise.

• Increase the speaker volume of the parent unit if
you cannot hear the sounds transmitted from the
baby unit.
Positioning the baby monitor
• Keep the baby unit out of the reach of your baby.
Never place or mount the baby unit inside the
baby’s cot or playpen.

( 1 metre ) away from your baby .
2. Place t he parent u nit mo re than 6 .5 feet
(2 metres) a way from the b aby unit .
• The default volume o f your pa rent u nit is L evel 3 ,
and t he ma x imum vo lum e is leve l 5 . If you
experience feedb ack from your baby monitor
while positioning:
-Make sure y our baby unit and parent unit are
more than 6.5 feet (2 metres) apart, OR
-T urn down the v olume of your parent unit.
Operating range
The operating range of the baby monitor is up
to 1 , 50 0 feet ( 450 metr es ) outdoors or 1 60 feet
(50 metre s ) indoors. The actual operating range
may vary depending on the environmental
conditions and other interferences such as
walls, doors and other obstructions.

Replace the battery
To replace the t wo batteries ( 1 . 2V A A A
40 0m Ah Ni -M H) , sli de op en the battery
compartment cover , and the n take out t he
bat terie s. Follow the previou s steps to install
the new batteries.
