T o ensure that your HD video monitor is alway s at its best perf ormance, the P arent Unit
will promp t a message and ask you t o update its softw are and the Bab y Unit’s firmwar e
when ther e are new versions av ailable. Select “No w” t o reboot the sy stem, or swit ch off
and on the P arent Unit lat er t o reboo t the sy stem into the latest software.
• T o check if your de vice is running on the lat est softwar e, or to upda te your device
softwar e, go to:

Connect your HD video monitor with home Wi-Fi network
• Y ou must connect y our video monitor t o y our secured home Wi-Fi network in order
to r eceive the latest so ftware and firmw are updat es. T o set the Wi-Fi up, go to:
> Congure Wi-Fi

• Make sur e the Baby Unit is on when y ou set up the Wi-Fi ne twork.

If you plan to install your bab y unit in a designa ted
location, and use your home Wi-Fi ne twork to
connect y our video monitor , you need to t est
which of your selected monit oring areas within the
house have good Wi-Fi signal strength. After y ou
have po wered on your par ent unit, you can use
your parent unit’s Wi-Fi signal strength indicat or
to assist in checking. Onc e y ou have iden tified the
suitable location, you can install your bab y unit .
Adjust the distance between your bab y unit and
the Wi-Fi r outer if needed.
• Depending on surroundings and obstructing
factors that affect signal str ength, such as distance
and internal walls, y ou may experience r educed
Wi-Fi signal. T o improve the Wi-Fi signal str ength,
adjust the distanc e or dir ection of your parent unit .
Check with your parent unit again.

Adjust speaker volume
Press -VO L / VOL+ to adjust y our par ent unit
speaker volume lev el rec eived fr om the baby
unit.
After powering up y our video monit or , the par ent unit str eams live video in direct mode.
W e recommend you follo w the instructions on screen to set up home Wi-Fi network
with your monitor for functionality enhanc ements and mobile access. See A uto software
and rmware upda te and Download app for mobile access in this quick st art guide.
Use the menu
Press MENU on the paren t unit t o enter the
main menu, choose a menu item, or save a
setting. Y ou can use the parent unit menu for
advanced se ttings or oper ations, such as to
play or s top a lullaby , or adjust the motion
and sound detection settings.
While i n the menu:
• Press , , o r to scroll among the
menu options.
• Press SELECT to select an it em.
• Press T ALK / to r eturn to the live video.
• Press to go to the Help & info page.
T o restor e to the default settings or rese t the
Wi-Fi connection, you can r eset the par ent
unit by pressing the RESET ke y at the back of
the unit.
Use a pin and insert it into the hole on the
back of the parent unit, and then gently press
the button inside.
T urn on/ off the parent unit screen
T urn on or off the par ent unit scr een without
powering off the parent unit . Y ou will still
hear sounds fr om the baby unit.
• Press POWER on the parent unit to turn
off the scr een.
• Press an y ke y on the parent unit t o turn
the screen on again.
• This baby monitor should be for use by adults only.
• It is not a substitute for proper adult supervision, and should not be used as such.
T e sting the s ound lev el of the HD video monitor
• For hearing prot ection, make sure the parent unit is more than 1 metr e away from the baby
unit. If y ou hear feedback noise fr om the par ent unit, mo ve the par ent unit further away until
the noise stops. Y ou can also press - VOL on the par ent unit to lower or mut e the noise.
• Increase the parent unit speaker volume if you cannot hear the sounds transmitted from the baby unit.
Positioning the HD video monitor
• K eep the baby unit out of the reach o f your baby .
Nev er place or mount the bab y unit inside the baby’ s cot
or pla ypen.
1 . Place th e baby unit more tha n 1 metre awa y
from your baby .
2. Adjus t the angle of the b aby unit to aim at your baby .
3. T o av oid causin g f eedbac k noise from y our HD video monitor:
• Make sur e your baby unit and parent unit are mor e than 1 metr e apart; OR
• T urn down the volume of your parent unit.
1. Place the wall mount brack et on a
wall and then use a pencil to mark
two holes in parallel. R emov e the
wall mount br acket and drill two
holes in the wall (5.5mm drill bit).
Notes
• Check for r eception str ength and baby
unit angle befor e drilling the holes.
• The types of screws and wall plugs you
need depend on the composition of
the wall. Y ou may need to purchase
the screws and wall plugs separat ely t o
mount your baby units.
2. If you drill the holes into a s tud, go
to step 3.
• If y ou drill the holes int o an
object other than a stud, insert
the w all plugs into the holes.
T ap gently on the ends with a
hammer un til the w all plugs are
flush with the wall.
3. Align the w all mount brack et and scr ews with
the holes in the wall as shown. Tighten the screw
in the middle hole first, so that the wall mount
bracke t position is fixed. Y ou can tighten the
other screw in the t op hole.
3. Insert the scr ews into the holes and
tighten the scr ews until only 6mm of the
screws ar e exposed.
4. Place the bab y unit on the wall
mount br acket, and then slide it
forwar d until it locks into place. Align
the holes on the wall mount br acket
with the scr ews on the wall, and slide
the w all mount brack et down un til it
locks into place.
5. Y ou can maximise y our bab y unit’s viewing angles by tilting the wall moun t brack et.
Hold the bab y unit , and then r otate the knob in an anticlockwise direction. This will loosen the joint of the wall moun t bracke t.
Tilt your baby unit up or down t o adjust t o y our pr eferr ed angle. Then, rota te the knob in a clockwise dir ection to tighten the
joint and secur e the angle.
OR
4. Place the bab y unit on the wall mount bracket ,
and then slide it f orward un til it locks into plac e.
Connect the power adaptor to the baby unit
and a power supply .
