Night vision
The baby unit has infrared LEDs that
allow you to see your baby clearly at
night or in a dark room. When the baby
unit being vie wed detects low light
levels, the infrared LEDs are switched
on automatically. The images from the
baby unit ar e in black and white, and
appears on the scr een.

Tip
• Depending on the surroundings and
other interfering factors, like lighting,
objects, colours and backgrounds, the
display resolution may vary. Adjust the
baby unit angle or place the baby unit at a
higher level to prevent glare and a blurry
display.
Mount the bab y unit on dr y w all ( optional )
Place the wall moun t brack et on a w all
and then use a pencil t o mark two holes in
parallel.
Note
• Check for rec eption str ength and camera
angle befor e drilling the holes.
Drill two holes in the w all (5.5mm inch drill bit ).
If y ou drill the holes in to a stud, go t o step 3.

If y ou drill the holes in to an object o ther than
a stud, insert the wall plugs in to the holes. T ap
gently on the ends with a hammer until the
wall plugs are flush with the w all.
Align the wall mount bracke t and
screws with the holes in the wall as
shown. Tighten the scre w in the middle
hole first, so tha t the wall moun t brack et
position is fixed. Y ou can tight en the
other scre w in the top hole.
Place the c amera unit on the w all mount
bracke t, and then slide it forw ard un til
it locks into plac e. Connect the power
adaptor t o the camer a unit and a power
supply no t con trolled b y an electr onically
contr olled wall switch.

When you are not going to use the HD video monitor for some time, store the parent unit, the baby
unit and the adaptors in a cool and dry place.

• DO NOT expose it to direct sunlight or moisture.

Why does the
baby monitor
not r espond
normally?
T ry the follo wing (in the or der list ed) for common cure:
1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.
2 . Wait a few sec ond s before connecting power back to the baby unit and the parent unit.
3. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit.
4. Wait for the parent unit to synchronize with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute
for this to take place.

are switched on ?
Perhaps the parent unit is not connected t o the pow er . Insert the appliance plug in to
the parent unit and insert the adap tor in a w all socket . Then, pr ess and hold POWER to
switch on the par ent unit and to establish connection with the bab y unit.
Perhaps the baby unit is no t connected to the po wer . Insert the applianc e plug into the
baby unit and insert the adaptor in a wall socket . Then, slide the ON/OFF switch to
ON to switch on the bab y unit and t o establish connection with the paren t unit.
Why doesn’t m y parent
unit charge while
connected to AC power?

Why is my scr een in
black and white?
The screen is in black and white during night- time or in a dark r oom when the night
vision featur e is activat ed. This is normal.
Why do I get glar e or
blurry displa y on m y
screen when viewing my
baby at nigh t?
During night-time or in a dark room, the surroundings and other int erfering factors,
like lightings, objects, colours and back gr ounds may affect the image quality on y our
parent unit screen. A djust the bab y unit angle or plac e the bab y unit at a higher lev el to
prev ent glar e and a blurry display .
Why does the bab y
monitor pr oduce a
feedback noise?
The parent unit and baby unit ma y be too close t o each other .
• Move the par ent unit away fr om the bab y unit until the noise stops; OR
• Turn down the v olume of y our par ent unit .
Why does the par ent
unit beep?
The baby unit may be out of r ange. Mov e the par ent unit closer t o the bab y unit (but
not less than 1 m ).
The parent unit may not have enough char ge for the par ent unit to perf orm normally .
Charge the ba ttery in the paren t unit until the battery icon bec omes solid .
The tempera ture of your baby’ s room ma y be too high or too low .
Why does the par ent
unit react t oo quickly to
other sounds ?
The baby unit also picks up other sounds than those of y our bab y . Adjust the VO X
sensitivity le vel t o a lower lev el or lo wer the paren t unit speak er v olume.
Why don’t I hear a
sound/Why can’t I hear
my baby cry?
The parent unit speaker volume ma y be too low . See Adjust par ent unit speaker
volume to incr ease the volume.
Y ou may ha ve set a low VO X sensitivity lev el. See Adjust the sound sensitivity of the

possible.
If you power on only one baby unit, your parent unit may display , and the LINK
LED light will flash.
