When using y our equipment, basic saf ety
precautions should alwa ys be f ollowed t o reduc e
the risk of fir e, electric shock and injury , including
the following:
1. Follow all w arnings and instructions marked on
the product.
2. Adult setup is r equir ed.
3. This HD video monitor is in tended as an aid. It is
not a substitut e for proper adult supervision, and
should not be used as such.
4. This product is no t int ended for use as a medical
monitor .
5. Do not use this pr oduct near water . F or e xample,
do not use it ne xt t o a bath tub, wash bo wl,
kitchen sink, laundry tub or swimming pool, or in
a we t basement or show er .
6. Use only the adapt ers included with this
product. Inc orrect adapter polarity or volt age
can seriously damage the product .

Camera unit pow er adap ter:
Output: 5V DC 1000mA.
7. The power adapter is intended to be corr ectly
oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
The prongs ar e not designed to hold the plug
in place if it is plugged into a ceiling, under -the-
table or cabine t outlet.
8. For pluggable equipment , the socke t-outlet
(pow er adap ter) shall be inst alled near the
equipment and shall be easily accessible.
9. Unplug this pr oduct fr om the wall outlet bef ore
cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Use a damp cloth f or cleaning.
10. Do not cut o ff the power adapters to replac e
them with o ther plugs, as this c auses a hazardous
situation.
11. Do not allow an ything to r est on the po wer
cords. Do no t install this pr oduct where the
cords ma y be walk ed on or crimped.
12. This product should be operat ed only fr om the
type of po wer sour ce indica ted on the marking
label. If y ou are not sure o f the type of po wer
supply in y our home, c onsult your dealer or local
power company .
13. The equipment is to be supplied fr om an
identified USB port complying with the
requir ements of Limited P ower Sourc e.
14. Do not o verload wall outlets or use an extension
cord.
15. Do not plac e this pr oduct on an unstable table,
shelf, stand or other unstable surfaces.
16. This product should no t be placed in an y ar ea
where pr oper ventilation is not pro vided. Slots
and openings in the back or bottom of this
product ar e provided for ventila tion. T o protect
them from o verheating, these openings must
not be block ed by placing the product on a soft
surface such as a bed, sofa or rug. This product
should never be placed near or ov er a r adiator or
heat r egister .
17 . Nev er push objects o f an y kind in to this pr oduct
through the slots because they may touch
dangerous voltage points or cr eate a short
circuit. N ever spill liquid of any kind on the
product.
18. T o reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
disassemble this product , but take it t o an
authorized service facility . Opening or r emoving
parts of the product o ther than specified access
doors may expose you to dangerous voltages
or o ther risks. Incorr ect reassembling can cause
electric shock when the product is subsequen tly
used.

21. Be aware of possible loss of priv acy while using

up by other nursery monitors, cor dless phones,

22. Children should be supervised to ensur e that
they do not play with the product.
23. The small parts of this monitor can be swallowed
by babies or small children. K eep these parts out
of r each of children.
24. The product is no t intended f or use by persons
(including children ) with reduced ph ysical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they hav e
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their saf ety.

Administra tion, WTR r ecommends to physicians

Pacemak er patients
• Should keep wireless de vices at least six inches
from the pacemak er .
• Should NOT place wir eless devices dir ectly over
the pacemaker , such as in a breast pock et, when
it is turned ON.
WTR’s evaluation did not identify any risk to
bystanders with pacemakers from other persons
using wireless de vices.
