The instructions below, to be carried out in the order in which they are numbered, refer to the drawings (using the same numbering) on the last pages of this
manual.
1. Mark a vertical centre line on the wall.
2. Apply the drilling diagram to the wall (secure it using adhesive tape): the vertical centre line printed on the drilling diagram must be aligned with the
centre line drawn on the wall, and the lower edge of the drilling diagram must be aligned with the lower edge of the hood.
IMPORTANT: The bottom edge of the drilling diagram must be at a distance of at least 45 cm (for electric hobs) or 65 cm (for gas hobs).
3. Make 3 holes as shown in the drawing and remove the drilling diagram.
In extractor mode only, with REAR AIR OUTLET:
4. Make a hole in the wall (Ø 16 cm) for the pipe, as shown in the drilling diagram.
5. Fix the 2 support hooks near the upper holes with 2 plugs and 2 screws, and insert 1 plug in the lower hole.
For filter mode only:
6. Leave the plastic grille on the upper part.
For extractor mode only:
7. Remove the upper plastic grille by loosening the 2 screws.
In extractor mode only, with UPPER AIR OUTLET:
8. Fix the collar with 2 screws.
In extractor mode only, with REAR AIR OUTLET:
9. Release and remove the hooking brackets.
10. Release the motor by loosening the 8 screws (10.1); turn it by 180° (10.2).
Place it back in the relevant slot (10.3) and fix it in place using the 8 screws removed previously (10.4). Fix the collar to the rear air outlet using 2 screws
(10.5).
11. Re-fit the hooking brackets, adjust them for wall mounting, re-tighten the screws.
12. Hook the hood onto the support hooks previously fixed to the wall.
13. Tighten the 2 adjustment screws.
14. Adjust the hood horizontally using a level and the two adjustment screws.
15. Adjust the distance between the hood and the wall.
16. Open the perimeter hood panel and remove the grease filter.
17. Secure the hood to the wall with 1 screw and 1 washer.
In extractor mode only, with UPPER AIR OUTLET:
18. Connect the fume exhaust pipe to the collar.
19. Connect the power cable to the hood socket.
20. Secure the cable to the cable clamp.
For filter mode only:
21. Fit the carbon filter onto the back of the grease filter, hooking it with the two rods.
22. Fit the grease filter and close the front panel.
IMPORTANT: Do not damage the electrical connections when rotating the motor.
