Steam Hygiene
This option enhances washing performance by generating steam during
the wash cycle that eliminates any bacteria from br es while treating them
at the same time. Place the laundry in the drum, choose a compatible
programme and select option “ “.

Easy Iron
By selecting this func tion, the wash and the spin cycles will be modied in
order to reduc e the formation of creases .
T emperature
Every programme has a predened t emperature. If you w ant to change the
temperature , press the “ T emperature ” button. The value appears on the
display .
Spin
Every programme has a predened spin speed . If you want to change the
spin speed, press the “Spin” button. The value appears on the displa y .
Demo mode
T o deactivate this function, switch the washing machine OFF . Than press
and hold “Start/Pause” button, within 5 seconds press also
“ON/OFF” button and hold both butt ons for 2 seconds.
KEY L OCK
T o lock the control panel, press and hold the “KEY LOCK” button for
approxima tely 3 seconds. When the displa y visualises “KEY L OCK ON” the
control panel is locked (with the ex ception of the ON/OFF butt on). This
prevents unin tentional changes to progr ammes, especially with children
near the machine. T o unlock the control panel , press and hold the “KEY L OCK”
button for appr oximately 3 seconds .
BLEA CHING
If you wish to bleach the laundry, load the washing machine and set the
“Rinse & Spin” programme.
Start the machine and wait for it to complete the rst wat er lling cycle
(roughly 2 minutes). P ut the machine in pause mode by pressing the
“Start/Pause ” button , open the detergent draw er and pour the bleach
(observe the recommended doses indicated on the package) into the
mai n wash compartment where the partition was previously mounted.
Restar t the cycle by pressing the “Star t/Pause ” button .
If desired, it is possible to add fabric softener into the appropriat e
compartment of the detergent drawer .
HINTS AND TIPS
Sor t your laundry accor ding to
T ype of fabric/care label (cott on, mixed bres , synthetics, wool ,
handwash items). Colour (separ ate coloured and whit e items, wash
new coloured items separ ately). Delicates (wash small items – like
nylon stockings – and items with hooks – like bras – in a cloth bag or
pillow case with zip).
Empty all pockets
Objects like coins or lighters can damage your laundry as well as the
drum.
F ollow the dosage recommenda tion / additives
It optimizes the cleaning result, it avoids irritating r esidues of surplus
detergent in y our laundr y and it saves money b y avoiding waste of
surplus detergent
Use low t emperature and longer dur ation
The most ecient prog rammes in terms of energy consumption
are generally those that perform at lower t emperatures and longer
duration. Observe the load sizes
Load your w ashing machine up to the capacity indicated in the
“PROGRAMME CHART ” table to save wa ter and energy .
Noise and remaining moisture c ontent
They are inuenced b y the spinning speed: the higher the spinning
speed in the spinning phase, the higher the noise and the low er the
remaining moisture c ontent.
DESCALE AND CLEAN PR OCEDURE
A message on the display will regularly (roughly ev ery 50 c ycles) advise the
user to run an automatic cleaning cycle to clean the washing machine and
combat limescale build-up and bad odours.
F or optimal maintenance we suggest using WPR O Limescale and grease
remover , according to the instructions shown on the package. The pr oduct
can be purchased by contacting the technical assistance service or through

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
F or any cleaning and maintenance, switch o and unplug the
washing machine . Do not use ammable uids to clean the washing
machine.
Clean and maintain your washing machine periodically (at least 4
times per year).
Cleaning the outside of the washing machine
Use a soft damp cloth to clean the outer parts of the washing
machine. Do not use glass or general purpose cleaners, sc ouring
powder or similar to clean the c ontrol panel – these substances
might damage the printing.
Checking the water supply hose
Check the inlet hose regularly for brittleness and cracks . If damaged,
replace it by a new hose a vailable through our After-Sales Service or
your specialist dealer . Depending on the hose t ype: If the inlet hose
has a transparent coa ting, periodically check if the colour intensies
locally . If yes, the hose ma y have a leak and should be replac ed
Cleaning the water lt er / draining residual wa ter
If you used a hot wash progr amme, w ait until the water has c ooled
down before draining any w ater . Clean the water lter regularly , to
avoid that the w ater cannot drain after the w ash due to obstruction
of the lter . If the w ater cannot drain, the display indic ates that the
water lt er may be clogged.
Remove the plinth by using the scr ewdriver: push down wards
one side of the plinth with your hand, then push the scr ewdriver
into the gap between plinth and fr ont panel and pr y open the
plinth. Place a br oad, at container beneath the w ater lter , to
collect the drain water . Slowly turn the lter counterclockwise
until water o ws out. Let the wat er ow out, without remo ving the
lter . When the c ontainer is full, close the wat er lter by turning it
in clockwise. Empty the container . R epeat this procedur e until all
the water has drained . Lay a cotton cloth beneath the w ater lter ,
which can absorb a small amount of rest water . Then r emove the
water lter b y turning it out anti clockwise. Clean the water lter:
remov e residues in the lter and clean it under running wat er .
Inser t the water lter and r einstall the plinth: Reinser t the water
lter again by turning it in clockwise direction. Make sure to turn it
in as far as it goes; the lter handle must be in vertical position. T o
test water tightness of the w ater lter , you can pour about 1 liter of
water into the det ergent dispenser . Then reinstall the plinth.

TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
Never lift the washing machine b y holding it at the worktop .
Pull out the mains plug , and close the water tap . Make sure that
door and detergent dispenser ar e properly closed. Disconnect the
inlet hose from the water tap , and r emove the drain hose fr om
your draining point. Remo ve all rest wat er from the hoses, and x
them so that they cannot get damaged during transport. Ret the
transport bolts. Follo w the instructions for removing the transport
bolts in the INST ALA TION GUIDE in reverse or der .
