PROGRAMMES
For choosing the appropriat e programme for your kind of
laundry, alw ays respec t the instructions on the care labels
of the laundry. The v alue given in the tub symbol is the
maximum temperature possible for w ashing the garment.
Mixed
F or washing lightly to normally soiled resilient garments in c otton, linen,
synthetic bres and mix ed bres.
White
F or washing normally to heavily soiled to wels, underwear , table and bed
linen, etc in resilient cott on and linen. Only when the temperatur e is
selected at 90°C the cycle is provided with a prewash phase bef ore main
washing phase. In this case it is recommended t o add detergent both, in
the prewash and main wash section.
Cotton
Normally to heavily soiled and robust cott ons .
Eco 40-60
F or washing normally soiled cotton garments declared t o be washable
at 40 °C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle. This is the standard cotton
programme and the most ecient in t erms of water and energy
consumption.
Sport
F or washing lightly soiled sports clothing (tracksuits, shorts, etc.). F or best
results, w e recommend not ex ceeding the maximum load indicated in
the ‚‘ ‘PROGRAMME CHAR T‘ ‘ . We rec ommend using liquid detergent , and
adding the amount suitable for half-load.
Duvet
Designed for washing eider down padded items such as double or single
duvets, cushions and anoraks . I t is recommended to load such padded
items in the drum with the edges folded in wards and not to ex ceed ¾ of
the drum ’ s volume. F or optimal washing, we recommend using a liquid
detergent.
Jeans
T urn garments inside - out befor e washing and use a liquid detergent .
Spin & Drain
Spins the load then empties the water . For resilient garments . If you
exclude the spin cycle, the machine will drain only
Rinse & Spin
Rinses and then spins. F or resilient garments .
Rapid 30’
F or washing lightly soiled garments quickly . This cycle lasts only 30
minutes, saving time and ener gy .
20°C
F or washing lightly soiled cotton garments , at a temperature of 20 °C.
W ool
All wool garments can be washed using prog ramme ‚“ Wool“ ev en
those carr yng the “hand-wash only “ label. F or best results, use special
detergents and do not e xc eed max kg declaration of laundry.
Delicates
F or washing particularly delicate garments. Pref erably turn garments
inside out before washing .
Synthetics
F or washing soiled garments made from synthetic br es (such as
polyester , polyacr ylic, viscose, etc .) or cotton/synthetic blends.
Eco C otton
For washing normally soiled cotton garments. At 40°C and 60°C.
FIRST TIME USE
T o remove any manufacturing debris select the “Cotton ” programme
at a temperatur e of 60°C. Pour a small quan tity of detergent powder in to
the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser (maximum
1/3 of the quantity the detergent manufacturer recommends f or lightly
soiled laundry). Star t the programme without adding an y laundry.
DAIL Y USE
Prepar e your laundr y according to the r ecommendations in the “HINTS
AND TIPS” sec tion. Load the laundry , close the door , open the water tap
and press the “ON/OFF” button to switch the wasching machine on,
the “Start/Pause ” b utto n a shes. T urn the programme selector to the
desired progr amme and select any option if needed. The temperature
and spin speed can be changed by pressing the «» butt on or the «
» button. P ull out the detergent dispenser and add the detergent (and
additives/softener) now . Obser ve the dosing rec ommendations on the
detergent pack. Then close the detergent dispenser and press the “Start/
Pause ” button. The “Start/Pause ” button will lights up and the door
will be locked.
P A USE A RUNNING PR OGRAMME
T o pause the wash c ycle, pr ess the “Start/Pause” ; the indica tor light
will go o and the remaining time on display ash. T o star t the wash cycle
from the point at which it was int errupted press the button again.
OPEN THE DOOR , IF REQUIRED
After starting a programme, the “Door locked” indicator lights up to
show that the door can not be opened. As long as a w ash programme is
running, the door remains locked . T o open the door while a programme
is in progress , press the “Star t/Pause ” to pause the programme.
Pro vided the water lev el and/or temperature is/ar e not too high, the
“Door locked” indicator light goes o and you can open the door .
F or example to add or remo ve laundry. P r es s t he “St art/ P au se ” button
again to continue the prog ramme.
PROGRAMME END
The “Door locked” indicator light goes o and the display shows
“En d” . T o switch o the washing machine after programme ends press the
“ON/OFF” button, the lights goes o . If you do not press “ON/OFF”
button, the washing machine will switch o automatically after about a
10 minutes. Close the wat er tap, open the door and unload the w ashing
machine. Lea ve the door ajar to allow the drum to dry.
OPTIONS
! If the selected option is incompatible with the programme set,
the incompatibility will be signalled by a buzzer (3 beeps) and the
corresponding indicator light will ash.
! If the selected option is incompatible with another previously set
option, only the most recent selection will remain active.
Start delay
T o set the selec ted progr amme to start at a later time, press the button
to set the desired delay time . Symbol lights on the display when this
fuction is enabled. T o cancel the delayed start, press the button again
untile the value ‚‘ ‘0‘ ‘ is shown on the display .
This option enhances washing performance by generating steam
to inhibit the prolif eration of the main bad odour sources inside the
machine. After steam phase , the washing machine will perform gentle
tumbling through slow rota tions of the drum. option star ts after
the cycle ends for a maximum duration of 6h and you can in terrupt it at
any time by pr essing any button on con trol panel or turning the knob.
W ait around 5 minutes bef ore door can be opened.
T emperature
Every programme has a predened t emperature . If you want to change
the temperature , press the « » button. The value appears on the display .
Spin
Every programme has a predened spin speed . If you want to change the
spin speed, press the « » button. The value appears on the display .
Demo mode
T o deac tivate this function, switch the washing machine OFF . Than press
and hold “Star t/P ause” button, within 5 seconds press also
“ON/OFF” button and hold both buttons for 2 sec onds.
KEY L OCK
T o lock the control panel, press and hold the “Key lock” button for
approxima tely 3 seconds. When the display visualises a key symbol
, the control panel is locked (with the ex ception of the “ON/OFF”
button). This prevents uninten tional changes to progr ammes, especially
with children near the machine. T o unlock the control panel, press and
hold the “Key lock ” button for approximat ely 3 seconds again.
BLEA CHING
If you wish to bleach the laundry, load the washing machine and set the
“Rinse & Spin” programme.
Start the machine and wait for it to complete the rst wat er lling cycle
(roughly 2 minutes). P ut the machine in pause mode by pressing the
“Start/Pause ” button, open the detergent dra wer and pour the bleach
(observe the recommended doses indicated on the package) into the
main wash compartment where the partition was previously mounted.
Restar t the cycle by pressing the “Start/Pause ” button.
