Instructions for use
Before use:
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed.
- Before using this product for the rst time, it is advisable to test it without food.
- Before using the product for the rst time, clean the parts that will come into
contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.
- Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased. Consequently, the rst
time the appliance is used a light smoke may be detected. After a short time,
this smoke will disappear.
- To eliminate the smell given off by the appliance when used for the rst time, it
is recommended to have it on at full power for 2 hours in a well-ventilated room.
Use:
- Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
-The pilot light comes on.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the selection knob.
-The pilot light comes on.
- Select the appliance function desired.
- Turn the thermostat control to the desired temperature position.
-After the selected time, the appliance will switch off automatically.
How to Bake:
- Place the removable rack (H) into the desired position
- Place the back tray (With the prepared food ready to be baked) (J) on to the
wire rack. Shut the oven door .
-Turn the oven timer dial (D) to the desired cooking time.
-Turn the control knob to use Top heating (E)
-Turn the thermostat knob (B) to the desire temperature.
-After the selected time, the appliance will switch off automatically.
How to broil:
- Insert the removable wire rack (H) with food on the all-purpose bake tray (J)
-Turn the timer dial (D) to the desired cooking timer.
-Keep the door half open
-Turn the control knob to use Bottom heating.
-Turn the thermostat dial to the desired broiling time.
- In order to minimize the generation of acrilamida during the cooking process,
avoid to reach dark brown colours on the foodstuffs.
-After the selected time, the appliance will switch off automatically.
How to roast:
- Set the temperature control to 250ºC
-Turn the control knob to use the Top & bottom heating
-Place the food to be roasted on the wire rack (H)
-Turn the timer control to the desired position. Bell will ring to signal the end of
the roast cycle.
-After the selected time, the appliance will switch off automatically.
Rotisserie function:
CAUTION: Always use oven gloves to protect your hands. The metallic parts
can become very hot during use. Take care when touching the rotisserie handle
and the rotisserie spit.
-Set the thermostat control to the maximum temperature.
-Place the bake tray on the lower position.
-Insert the pointed end of spit (M) through buttery skewer (L), making sure
the points of skewer face in the same direction as pointed end of the spit. Slide
towards square of the spit and secure with thumbscrew (N).
-Place the food to be cooked on the spit by running the spit directly through the
center of the food.
-Place the second skewer into the other end of the spit and secure skewer with
the thumbscrew.
-Check the food is centred on the spit.
-Insert the point end of the spit into the drive socket. Make sure the square end
of the spit rests on the spit support.
-When complete, turn the control knob to use top heating with rotisserie function,
Convection function:
-The convection function can be effected when you turn the “ Rotisserie & con-
vection control knob” to the convection or the rotisserie & convection selector.
-Set the Rotisserie & Convection control knob to the convection selector if you
need convection only.
-Set the “ Rotisserie & convection control knob” to the Rotisserie & convection
selector , if you need rotisserie function at the same time.
Once you have nished using the appliance:
- Select the minimum position using the thermostat control knob
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Clean the appliance.
Cleaning
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking
any cleaning task.
- Clean the electrical equipment and the mains connection with a damp cloth and
dry. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid
and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or
abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the
inner parts of the appliance
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under
running water.
- The following pieces may be washed in a dishwasher (using a soft cleaning
program):
- Wire rack - Bake tray
- Grill rack
- Then dry all parts before its assembly and storage.
- It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade
and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become
unsafe to use.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if product is da-
maged or other problems arise. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the
appliance yourself as this may be dangerous.
For EU product versions and/or in case that it is requested in your country:
Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of this appliance consists are included in
a collection, classication and recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of
them, use the appropriate public recycling bins for each type of material.
- The product does not contain concentrations of substances that could be con-
sidered harmful to the environment.
- This symbol means that in case you wish to dispose of the pro-
duct once its working life has ended, take it to an authorised was-
te agent for the selective collection of Waste from Electric and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
- This symbol means that surface could to get hot during the use.
This appliance complies with Directive 2014/95/EU on Low Voltage, Directive
2014/108/EU on Electromagnetic Compatibility and Directive 2011/65/EU on the
restrictions of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and elec-
tronic equipment.
