C onn ect the c old water supply hose t o a t hreaded 3/4 (inch ) conne ctor and mak e su re

t hat i t is f astened tight ly in place.

I f the water pipes are n ew o r have n ot been use d for an extended period of ti me , let the

w ate r run to make sure that the w at er is clear. Thi s p recaut ion is needed to avoid the

r isk of the w ate r in let t o be blocked and damage the a ppliance.

Th e water suppl y to the app lianc e ca n also be co nn ec ted to t he ho use hold hot water

line (such as, c entral system, heatin g sy stem ),as lon g as it does not exceed a

temper ature of 60 C. In this case, the wash cycle time w ill be short ene d by ab out 1 5

minutes andthe wash efficiency slightly reduced.

Th e co nnection must be made to the hot wate r lin e fo llowi ng t he same procedu res as

described in the section for the connection to the cold water line.

Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the risk of an

electric shock.

Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the

appliance is properly earthed.

Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly to the

outlet, please have a qualified electrician to install a proper outlet.

In or der to avoid that there is more water staying in the inlet hose, please c lose

the h ydrant after using.(Not applicable to appli ances without aqua-stop.)

Insert the drain hose into adrain pipe with a minimum diameter of 4cm, or let it r un into the s ink, making sure to

avoid bending or crimping it. Use the special plasticsupport thatcomes with the appliance . The top ofthe hose

must be at a heig ht b etween 4 0 an d 100cm . The f ree e nd o f t he hose must no t be im mer sed in wat er to av oid the

back flow of it.

Note: Th e dra in hose of this applia nce m ust only be c onnecte dto a dirty wat er dra in. Wate r must n ot be

discharged in to a f resh water drain.
