Operating times

Charging (figure A)
The shears must have been charged for ca.
45-50 hours before their first use.
For charging - plug the charger in a 230-volt
AC outlet and plug the charger plug into the
charge socket of the rechargeable shears.
Attention! Only use the charger in dry rooms!
Please note:
• In the interest of long battery service life,
the device should not be connected to the
charger longer than is necessary.
After cutting
•
Maintenance and cleaning work on the device may
only be executed when the motor is not running.
• Clean and lubricate the blades (with Vaseline)
after each cutting.
• Repairs to the device may only be carried
out by WOLF service centers and authorized
repair centers.
• Chargers that have become wet may not be
plugged into an electrical outlet until they are
dry. Otherwise the shears should be charged
after each trimming (only in a dry room.
• Always store the shears in a dry room out of
the reach of children in such a way that the
cutting head is protected.
Dispose of batteries in an
environmentally responsible manner
• WOLF batteries are nickel
cadmium rechargeable
batteries, and therefore
must be disposed of in
accordance with waste disposal regulations.
Safety instructions
Operation
•
The battery only reaches its full performance
after multiple charge and discharge cycles.
• The rechargeable shears should not be
charged prior to long periods when it will
not be used, and it should not be charged
intermittently in winter.
• The charging time for a completely
discharged battery is 45-50 hours.
Adjusting the cutter head (figure B)
Slide the lock button up (1) and then turn
the cutter head to the desired position (2).
Release the button (1) and check whether
the cutter head is locked in place.
Please note:
The cutter head can be locked in five
positions (90° « 45° « 0° » 45° » 90°).
Disposal
•
Do not dispose of electrical
equipment in domestic waste.
Recycle equipment, accessories and
packaging in an environment-friendly
manner.
Return defective batteries to your dealer for
disposal. Batteries must be removed from the
appliance before it is scrapped.
• WOLF batteries are best suited for battery-
powered electric appliances, according to
the state of the art. Nickel cadmium batteries
are harmful to the environment if disposed of
with other household waste.
• WOLF Garten would like to encourage
environmentally friendly consumer attitudes.

we guarantee the acceptance and recycling of
used batteries.
Charger
• The charger may only be used in dry rooms.
• Unplug cable connections only by pulling on
the plug. Pulling on the cable could damage
cable as well as plug and electrical safety
could not be guaranteed.
• Never use the charger if cable, plug, or the
device itself have been damaged through
external influence. Bring the charger to the
nearest repair shop.
• Under no circumstances should you open the
charger. In case of a malfunction take the
device to a repair shop.
