SAFETY INSTR UCTIONS
WARNING!
Read all s afety warnings and a ll instructions. F ailur e

The term “power tool ” in the warnings r efers t o your
mains-oper ated (cor ded) power tool or b attery-
operat ed (cor dless) power tool.
1. WORK AREA SAFETY
a. Keep work ar ea clean and well lit. Clutt ered or dark ar eas invit e
accidents.
b. Do not operat e power tools in explosiv e atmospheres, such as
in the presenc e of flammable liquids, ga ses or dust. Power tools
cre ate sparks which ma y ignite the dust or fumes.
c. Keep childr en and bystander s away while oper ating a power tool.
Distractions c an cause you to lose c ontrol.
2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a. Power t ool plugs must match the outl et. Never modify the plug in
any way . Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (gr ounded)
power tools. Unmodified plugs and mat ching outlets will reduc e
risk of electric shock.
b. Avoid body contact with e arthed or grounded surf aces, such as
pipes, radiat ors, r anges and r efriger ators. Ther e is an incr eased
risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or gr ounded.
c. Do not expose power tools t o rain or wet c onditions. Wat er
entering a power tool will incr ease the risk of electric shock.
d. Do not abuse the cor d. Never use the cor d for carrying, pulling or
unplugging the power tool. Keep c ord aw ay fr om heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. D amaged or entangled c or ds increa se the
risk of electric shock.
e. When operating a power t ool outdoors, use an e xtension cor d
suitable for out door use. Use of a cor d suitable for out door use
reduc es the risk of electric shock.
f. If oper ating a power tool in a damp location is una voidable, use
a residua l current devic e (RCD) pr otected suppl y . Use of an RCD
reduc es the risk of electric shock.
3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a. Stay al ert, watch what you ar e doing and use common sense when
operating a power t ool. Do not use a power tool while you ar e
tired or under the influenc e of drugs, alc ohol or medication.
A moment of inattention while oper ating power tools may r esult in
serious personal injury .
b. Use per sonal prot ective equipment. Alway s wear eye pr otection.
Pr otective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid s afety shoes,
hard hat, or hearing pr otection used f or appropriat e conditions
will reduc e personal injuries.
c. Pr event unintentiona l starting. Ensur e the switch is in the off -
position befor e connecting to power sour ce and/ or battery pack,
picking up or carrying the tool. C arrying power tools with your
finger on the switch or ener gising power tools that hav e the switch
on invites ac cidents.
d. R emove any adjusting key or wr ench befor e turning the power
tool on. A wr ench or a key left attached t o a rotating p art of the
power tool may r esult in persona l injury.
e. Do not overr each. Keep pr oper footing and balanc e at all times.
This enables better c ontrol of the power tool in une xpected
situations.
f. Dress pr operly . Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. K eep your
hair , clothing and gloves away fr om moving parts. L oose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving p arts.
g. If devices ar e pro vided for the connection of dust e xtraction and
collection f acilities, ensure these ar e connect ed and properl y
used. Use of dust collection c an reduc e dust relat ed hazar ds.
4. POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
a. Do not force the power t ool. Use the corr ect power tool for your
application. The corr ect power tool will do the job bett er and
safer at the r ate for which it w as designed.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and
off . Any power tool that c annot be contr olled with the switch is
danger ous and must be rep aired.
c. Disconnect the plug fr om the power sour ce and/ or the battery
pack fr om the power tool befor e making any adjustments,
changing acc essories, or storing power t ools. Such preventive
safety mea sures r educe the risk of starting the power t ool
accidenta lly .
d. Store idl e power tools out of the r each of childr en and do
not allow persons unf amiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to oper ate the power t ool. Power tools ar e
danger ous in the hands of untrained user s.
e. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, br eakag e of parts and any other c ondition that
may affect the power t ool’s oper ation. If damag ed, have the
power tool r epair ed before use . Many accidents ar e caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
f. Keep c utting tools sharp and clean. P roperl y maintained cutting
tools with sharp cutting edg es are les s likely to bind and ar e
easier to c ontrol.
g. Use the power tool, acc essories and tool bits et c. in accor dance
with these instructions, taking into ac count the working
conditions and the work t o be performed. Use of the power tool
for oper ations differ ent from those intended c ould r esult in a
hazar dous situation.
5. BATTER Y T OOL USE AND CARE
a. Recharg e only with the charg er specified by the manufactur er .
A charger that is suit able for one type of battery p ack may
cre ate a risk of fir e when used with another battery pack.
b. Use power tools only with specific ally designated b attery packs.
Use of any other batt ery packs may cr eate a risk of injury and
fire .
c. When battery pack is not in use , keep it awa y from other met al
objects, like paper clips, c oins, keys, nails, scr ews or other small
metal objects that can mak e a connection fr om one terminal
to another . Shorting the battery termina ls together ma y cause
burns or a fire .
d. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected fr om the
battery; av oid contact. If c ontact accidenta lly occur s, flush with
water . If liquid cont acts eyes, additionally seek medic al help.
Liquid ejected fr om the battery ma y cause irritation or burns.
6. SERVICE
a. Have your power tool serviced b y a qualified rep air person using
only identical r eplac ement parts. This will ensure that the s afety
of the power tool is maintained.
7. SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BA TTERY
a. Never attempt t o open or modify battery for any r eason.
Relea sed electrol yte is corr osive and may c ause damage to ey es
and skin. It may be to xic if swallowed.
b. Under extr eme conditions, batt ery leakag e may oc cur . When
you notice liquid on the batt ery , proc eed as follows:
• Carefull y wipe the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
• In case of skin or eye cont act, follow the instructions below.
• The battery fluid, a 25 - 30% solution of potassium hy droxide ,
can be harmful. In case of skin c ontact, immediately rinse with
water . Neutr alize with a mild acid such as lemon juic e or vinegar .
In case of eye c ontact, rinse abundantly with cle an water for at
least
10 minutes.
c. Do not expose to water .
d. Do not stor e in locations wher e the temper ature ma y
exceed 40 °C.
e. Charg e at room t emperatur e: 0 °C - 45 °C.
It is normal for the batt ery charger t o hum and be warm
but not hot during operation.
f . Charge onl y using the charger pr ovided with the tool.
g. Before charging, make sur e that the battery is dry and cl ean.
h. Use only the batt ery supplied with your tool.
i. Exercise car e in handling and storing b atteries in order not t o
short them with conductive mat erials such as rings, keys, c oins.
There is a r eal risk of the b attery or the conduct or overheating,
causing fir e or burns.
j. Do not dispose of battery in fire . It may explode . Follow
instructions and reg ulations given by local authorities
conc erning environment al prot ection. Dispose of old
batteries at an appr opriate wa ste disposal f acility .
8. SAFETY WARNINGS FOR CHAR GERS
a. Befor e using the charger and the b attery pack, r ead the
instruction manual car efully .
b. During charging, the electrica l curr ent used must corr espond to
the specifications of the battery char ger .
c. Never allow moisture , rain or spla sh to r each the rechar ging
location.
d. The ambient temper atur e should never exc eed 40 °C.
Never expose the unit to dir ect sunlight.
e. A faulty or dama ged battery p ack or no longer ac cepting a load
must be disposed of at a special collection point. R espect the
envir onment. Do not dispose of an unusable battery pack with
household wast e in the fire or in w ater .
f . Use only the battery pack supplied b y the manufactur er .
g. Always keep the surfac e of the charger fr ee of dust and dirt.
h. Insert the battery pack int o the charger . F ollow the polarity
guides.
i. Always r emove the battery p ack before perf orming any
operation on the de vice.
j. When the battery is disconnect ed from the t ool, cover the
contacts t o avoid a short cir cuit (e.g. fr om tools).
k. Do not throw the b attery in water or fir e, risk of expl osion!
l. Pr otect the battery c ase fr om shocks and do not open it.
m. Never discharg e the battery c ompletely and r echarge it
reg ularly if you do not use it for an ext ended period of time.
n. Indoor use only . Do not rechar ge the batt ery in rain or in wet
conditions.

9. INTENDED USE
The appliance is intended f or inflating car and bicycle tyr es, and
inflatable items f or games, sport and leisur e, but not for pumping
up inflatable items with a l arge volume, such a s inflatable
boats and very larg e air beds. The appliance is not int ended for
prof essional use.
10. ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Know your air compr essor . Read oper ator’s manual c arefull y.
2. Learn its applications and limit ations, as well as the specific
potential haz ards r elated t o this tool. F ollowing this rule will
reduc e the risk of electric shock, fire , or serious injury .
3. Risk of bursting. Do not oper ate air compr essor t o result in
output pres sure gr eater than mark ed maximum pressur e of item
to be inflated. Do not use at pr essur e gr eater than 7.5 bar .
4. To r educe the risk of el ectric shock, do not expose to r ain. Stor e
indoors.
