Replacing the Staple Cartridge Office Finisher
If your device is equipped with a finisher, or a convenience stapler, you will be required to replace
the staple cartridge or cartridges when the device displays a message instructing you to do so.
1. Open the finisher door and locate the staple cartridge unit.
2. Turn the staple head movement wheel fully clockwise.
3. Push down on the latch located on the right of the staple head unit, to release the cartridge.
4. Ensure the staple cartridge is latched correctly.
5. Remove the staple cartridge.
6. Install the replacement staple cartridge.
Note: For more detailed instructions see the device touch screen or the instructions provided

7. Close the finisher door.

High Volume Finisher Cartridges
1. Open the finisher door and locate the staple cartridge unit.
2. Hold the cartridge handle and gently lift to release.
3. Remove the staple cartridge.
4. Install the replacement staple cartridge.

with the new staples.
5. Ensure the staple cartridge is latched correctly.
6. Close the finisher door.
High Volume Finisher Booklet Maker Cartridges
1. Open the finisher door.
2. Pull the handle labelled 6b.
3. Locate the staple cartridges, these can be found on the right side of the 6b unit.
4. Remove the staple cartridge.
5. Install the replacement staple cartridge.

6. Ensure the staple cartridge is latched correctly.
