BA TTERY W ARNINGS AND USAGE GUIDELINES
WARNING: Lithium Polymer (LiP o) baeries ar e significantly mor e volale than alkaline, NiCd or NiMH baeries. All instrucons and
warnings must be f ollowed exactly t o prevent pr operty damage and/ or serious injury as the mishandling of LiPo baeries can result
in fir e. By handling, charging or using the included LiP o baery y ou assume all risks associated with Li Po ba eries. If y ou do not agree
with these condions please return the complete product in new , unused condion to the plac e of purchase immediately .
• Y ou must always charg e the LiP o baery in a safe, well-venlat ed area awa y from flammable materials.
• Nev er charge the Li Po baery unaended at any me. When charging the baery y ou must always r emain in constant observa on
to monitor the charging pr ocess and r eact immediately to any potenal pr oblems that may occur .
• Aer flying/ discharging the LiPo baery you must allow it to cool to ambient/ room tempera ture befor e recharging.
• T o charge the LiPo baery you must use only the included charger or a suitably compable LiPo baery charger. F ailure to do so may
result in a fire causing property damage and/ or serious injury.
• If at an y me the LiPo baery begins to balloon or swell, disconnue charging or dischar ging immediately . Quickly and saf ely
disconnect the baery , then place it in a safe, open area away from flammable materials to observe it for at least 15 minutes.
Connuing to charge or discharge a baery that has begun to balloon or swell can result in a fire. A baery that has ballooned or
swollen ev en a small amount must be removed fr om service c ompletely.
• Do not over -discharge the Li Po baery . Discharging the baery too low can cause damage to the baery resulng in reduced power ,
flight duraon or failure of the baery enrely . LiPo cells should not be discharg ed to below 3.0V each under load.
• Stor e the LiP o baery at room temperature and in a dry area for best results.
• When char ging, transporng or temporarily storing the LiPo baery the temperatur e range should be fr om approximately 40–120°
F (5–49° C). Do not store the baery or aircra in a hot garage, car or dir ect sunlight. I f stored in a hot garage or car the baery can be
damaged or even ca tch fire.
• Ne ver leav e baeries, charg ers and power supplies unaended during use.
• Ne ver aempt to charge low voltage, ballooned/ swollen, damaged or wet baeries.
• Ne ver allow children under 14 years of age to charge baeries.
• Ne ver charge a baery if an y of the wir e leads hav e been damaged or shorted.
• Ne ver aempt to disassemble the baery, charger or power supply.
• Ne ver dr op baeries, charger s or pow er supplies.
• Always inspect the baery, charger and power supply befor e charging.
• Always ensur e correct polarity befor e connecng baeries, chargers and power supplies.
• Always disconnect the baery aer char ging.
• Always terminate all processes if the baery, char ger or power supply malfuncons.
IMPORT ANT NOTE: It’s safer and beer for the longevity o f the baery to store it only parally charged for any length o f me. Storing
the ba ery appr oximately 50% charged is typically best, however , it will take some careful management of the charg e me and the use
of a volt meter to achieve this voltage. If y ou ha ve the equipment and skills to achie ve the 50% charge level for stor age it is recommend-
ed. If not, simply be sure to not stor e the baery fully charged whenever possible. In fact, as long as the baery will be stored at
approximat ely room temperatur e and for no mor e than a f ew weeks bef ore the next use, it may be best to stor e the baery in the
discharged sta te aer the last flight (as long as the baery was not over-dischar ged on the last flight).

HOME MODE
When the F light M ode selecon switch is in the
boom posion, H920 will be in Home (also known
as R eturn to Home) Mode.
In Home Mode, the GPS connecvity will fly back
H920 in a str aight line in the direcon of the pilots’
current locaon, and automacally land within
13-26 (4-8m) of the pilot. This can be very helpful
for beginning pilots who aren’t quite ready to land
H920 themselves. It can also be helpful f or pilots
that lose orientaon during fligh t. Simply acvate
Home Mode unl H920 automacally moves
toward the home posion, and once you've
confirmed orientaon switch back to Angle (Pilot)
Mode. If H920 ever loses the link with the ST16
Ground Staon it will automacally enter Home
Mode.
NOTICE: If the signal of remote c ontrol is lost, H920
will automa cally return to home point and hold its
posion (with a suitable GPS signal/lock) over the
home posion ex cept for low baery .
CAUTION: Do not calibra te the compass in parking garages, close to buildings or near r oads with a metal core. For optimum
performance, only calibr ate H920 in open spaces, far away fr om power lines and other metal structures or concrete
