original Zelmer accessories. They have been specially designed for this
product.
Please read these instructions carefully . Pay special attention to important
safety instructions.
Keep this User ’ s Guide for future reference.

7. T o reduce the risk of re inside the oven:
While heating food in plastic or paper containers, carefully attend –
the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing –
them in the oven.
If smoke is observed, switch off and unplug the appliance. Do not –
open the door in order to stie any ames.
Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes Do not leave pa- –
per products, dishes and kitchen utensils or food inside the oven
when it is not used.
8. W ARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in tightly
sealed containers since they are liable to explode.
9. Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boil-
ing; therefore take care when handling the container .
10. Do not use the oven to fry food. Hot oil may damage the oven parts or
accessories and even cause skin burns.
1 1. Eggs in shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the
microwave oven since they may explode even after microwave heat-
ing has ended.
12. Prick food covered with thick skin such as potatoes, whole marrows,
apples and chestnuts before cooking.
13. Stir and shake the contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars.
Check the temperature before consumption in order to avoid burns
14. Kitchen utensils may become hot due to the heat from the food. Use
appropriate handles while handling them.
15. Before using check if the utensils are suitable for use in microwave
ovens.
16. W ARNING: Microwave oven maintenance and repair which in-
volves removing the cover which gives protection against expo-
sure to microwave energy is dangerous, therefore it can only be
performed by a qualied person.
17. Incompetent persons may be exposed to excessive microwave en-
ergy if they take off the cover that protects from microwave energy
exposure.
18. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the ap-
pliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by chil-
dren unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
19. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
20. W ARNING: It is strictly forbidden to remove the foil located at the
inner side of the door . It can result in damage of the appliance.
INST ALLA TION
1. Make sure all wrappings have been removed from the inside of the
oven.
2. W ARNING: C heck for d amag e su ch a s a door that is n ot l ined up
correctly , damage to door seals and sealing surfaces, broken or
loosened hinges or latches, dents inside the oven or on the door .
In case of any damage do not operate the appliance and contact
the qualied service personnel.
3. Place the microwave oven on an even and stable surface that is
strong enough to hold the oven and the heaviest foods you put in it.
4. Do not expose the microwave oven to high temperatures and humid-
ity . Do not place the oven near ammable materials.
5. For the o ven to work prop erly prov ide an appro priate a irow . Leave
a c leara nce o f 30 cm above the oven . A clear ance of 7 .5 c m is requ ired
betw een the o ven and any adjac ent wall s. One sid e must be op en. Do
not cover or block the ventilation openings. Do not remove the legs.
6. Do not operate without the glass tray , turntable shaft and turntable
ring properly installed.
7. Make sure the cord is not damaged, is not placed under the oven or
above any hot or sharp surface.
8. Ensure an easy access to the outlet so that it is possible to easily
unplug the appliance in case of emergency .
9. Do not use the oven outdoors.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance must be grounded. The oven is equipped with a cord having
a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and
grounded.
In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk
of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
The oven should be used in a separate electric circuit.
PRECAUTIONS T O A VOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE
T O EXCESSIVE MICRO W A VE ENERGY
1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-
door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy .
It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any objects between the oven front face and the door
or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important
that the oven door close properly and there is no damage to the:
hinges and latches (broken or loosened), –
door seals and sealing surfaces, –
“deformities” –
4. The oven can be adjusted or repaired only by properly qualied
service personnel.

2. Plug the oven only to a grounded 230 V electrical outlet.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in the manual.
Do not use c orrosive chemic als or va pors in t his appliance. Thi s o ven
is es pecially designed to heat, cook an d dry food. It is not designed for
industrial or laboratory use.
4. WARNING: Do not operate an empty oven.
5. Do not operate the microwave oven if it has a damaged cord or plug,
if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or dropped.
If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should
be replaced by the producer or at a proper service point or by
a qualied person in order to avoid any hazards.
