Insert the lter holder in the appliance.

Place the permanent nylon lter or a paper lter in the
lter holder.

Close the lid.

Make sure that the jug lid is in place. Put the empty jug
on the hotplate.

Pull the power cord out of the storage compartment
at the back of the appliance and insert the plug into a wall
socket.
Thepowercordmaybeadjustedtotherequired
length.
• To increase the length of the cord, take
holdofthecord(donotgrasptheplug)and
gentlypullitdownandthanallthewayout
untilyoufeelresistance.
• Toreduce thecord,pushexcesscord into
thestoragecompartmentatthebackofthe
appliance. After adjusting the length, lock
thecordbypullingitallthewayupintothe
cut-outsectionofthehousing.

For the rst use, operate the coffee maker with water
only, following the brewing instructions described below in
section BREWING COFFEE.
This process will allow you to remove dust
and debris generated during production and
