Wash the remaining attachments after operation: the bowl, lid, sieve housing, pulp container, and –

pusher in warm water with dishwashing liquid. The above-indicated parts may also be washed in

the dishwasher in the maximum temperature of 60°C (apart from the sieve).

Do not wash the sieve in the dishwasher. Wash it using a hard bristle brush in warm water with –

dishwashing liquid. Do not use any metal brushes to wash the sieve!

Remove the dirt from the slots and the corners using a bottle brush or a toothbrush. –

Plastic elements may discolor as a result of excessive use. Do not teat this as a fault. –

Dry all parts thoroughly after washing. –

Assemble the juice extractor as indicated above. –

Pay special attention to transparent plastic parts. They are very sensitive to strokes and

dropping. They can be damaged easily.

What to do when:

The juice extractor does not work:

Return the juice extractor to a service point. –

The juice extractor poorly extracts juice and vibrates:

Unplug the appliance, clean the sieve from the pulp. If necessary, empty the pulp container. –

Replace the sieve in case of its mechanical damage. –

How to extract juice from fruits and vegetables:

Remove stones from fruits as they may damage the juice extractor. –

Carefully wash the fruits and vegetables to be processed. –

Wash berries directly before processing, as they quickly lose freshness. –

Extracting juice from plums, blueberries, raspberries and soft pears is troublesome. The pulp –

of these fruits blocks the openings of the sieve. You can process these fruits by mixing them in

small quantities with other fruits and vegetables. In such a case the sieve has to be cleaned more

often.

While extracting juice from grapes, insert whole fruits into the feeding tube, without the stem. –

Cut bigger fruits and vegetables into pieces before processing. –

Insert the fruits and vegetables into the feeding tube after switching on the appliance. –

The nutritional value of the raw juices is similar to the nutritional value of the fruits and vegetables, –

except that the juice does not contain ﬁ ber which is removed during juice processing.

Juice obtained from some fruits and vegetables has a tendency to concentrate. This is due

to the characteristics of the used products and it is not inﬂ uenced by the juice extractor. The

obtained juice might not be clear, but this kind of juice has the most nutritional value.

Ecology – Environment protection

Each user can protect the natural environment. It is neither difﬁ cult nor expensive.

In order to do it: put the cardboard packing into recycling paper container; put the

polyethylene (PE) bags into container for plastic.

When worn out, dispose the appliance to particular disposal centre, because of the

dangerous elements of this appliance, which can be hazardous for natural environ-

ment.

Do not dispose into the domestic waste disposal!!!
