welcome among the users of Zelmer products.
In order to achieve best possible results we recommend
using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have
been specially designed for this product.
Please read this user manual carefully. Pay special attention
to important safety instructions. Keep this user manual for
future reference.

Please read the entire user manual carefully before
using your appliance.
Make sure you understand all of the information
provided in the user manual.
The appliance and its accessible parts become hot
●
during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching
heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age
shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Warning!
Risk of property damage
Before the fi rst use, remove the protective plastic
●
packaging from the appliance.
The diameter of the cooking vessel must be at least
●
equal to the diameter of the cooking zone.
Never place food products wrapped in aluminium
●
foil or in aluminium trays on the ceramic hob as the
aluminium will melt on heating and may damage the
appliance.
Danger of fi re: do not store items on the cooking
●
surfaces.
Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can
●
be dangerous and may result in fi re. NEVER try to
extinguish a fi re with water, but switch off the appliance
and then cover fl ame e.g. with a lid or a fi re blanket.
Never use the ceramic hob for heating empty pots or
●
pans.
Do not use abrasive detergents such as emulsions,
●
cream cleaners, polishes, etc. for cleaning the hob.
They may remove the graphic information symbols
such as markings, warning signs etc.
Do not use steam cleaning equipment to clean the
●
appliance.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by
●
means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
The ceramic surface is sensitive for spot impacts
●
caused by i.e. a bottle with seasonings, salt-cellar, etc.
Sugar may react with the hob leaving non-removable
●
stains. Always remove all sugar stains from the hob
immediately as they occur.
Do not place aluminium or plastic items on the hot hob.

This appliance is intended for household use only. The

warranty conditions change if the appliance is used
catering business purposes.
The appliance may only be used indoors.
●
The appliance is intended for preparing and heating
●
food with the use of appropriate cooking vessels.
Danger! / Warning!
Risk of injury
Never use the appliance to heat rooms or liquids and
●
materials that are harmful or volatile etc.
Never use the appliance for heating sealed canned
●
food. There is a risk a can may explode on heating.
At any rate, remove the lid before heating.
Never cook food products in aluminium foil.
●
If the surface of the hob is damaged, unplug the
●
appliance to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Do not operate the appliance if the power cord is
●
damaged or if there is visible damage to the housing.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
●
the manufacturer, a service agent or a qualifi ed person
in order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance can only be repaired by qualifi ed service
●
personnel. Improper servicing may pose serious
hazard to the user.
In the event of a voltage drop all settings and
●
indications shall be reset. Please take all necessary
precautions as the cooking zone heated-up before the
voltage drop shall not be controlled by the indicator.
In case of defects please contact a qualifi ed ZELMER
●
service centre.
Some elements become hot when the hob is operated.
●
Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance. Risk of
●
burns! Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
●
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
