Discover GEWA Connect’s scanning
You need a switch connected to SW1 or SW2 on Multibox.
Follow these steps to get a quick tutorial on row scanning and point scanning:
1. Press the switch to start the Row scanning (default).
2. GEWA Connect starts scanning through all objects on the screen.
3. Press the switch to select an object.
4. The Click menu is shown, choose Tap to “tap” on the object.
5. Press and hold down the switch for 2.5 seconds to see the Longpress menu.
6. Choose Swap to switch to Point scanning.
7. GEWA Connect starts scanning vertically. Press the switch to select the area, then
press again to close in on a more exact position.
8. GEWA Connect starts scanning horizontally. Press the switch to select the area, then
press again to close in on a more exact position.
9. The Click menu is shown, choose Tap to “tap” on the position.
10. Wait for 10 seconds and the scanning will stop (the crosshair disappears).

Discover the Alert function
The Alert function is used when you want to attract somebody’s attention. The Alert is
activated if the switch is pressed for 8 seconds. The Alert function can be set to activate the
Relay output, send an IR signal or GR signal. A signal is heard from the Multibox when the
