Providing the Personal Shopper Information
Most of these extra fields can be pre-populated by submitting the following fields with the payment request:
● shopper.firstName
The first name of the shopper.
● shopper.infix
The infix of the shoppers name..
● shopper.lastName
The last name of the shopper.
● shopper.gender
The gender of the shopper. Value must be MALE or FEMALE.
● shopper.dateOfBirthDayOfMonth
The day value of the date of birth of the shopper.
● shopper.dateOfBirthMonth
The month value of the date of birth of the shopper.
● shopper.dateOfBirthYear
The year value of the date of birth of the shopper.
● shopper.telephoneNumber
The telephone number of the shopper.
It is not possible to lock these fields: the shopper can always change these values on the Hosted Payment
Pages.
Invoice Line Specification
After the shoppers has entered their details Adyen will perform a call-back to a (SOAP) web service hosted by
the merchant requesting the order line specification of the invoice. The SOAP server should implement the
WSDL file provided at the URL listed in Appendix A.
The line specification is required by Adyen to send detailed letters to the shopper requesting the payment
when the initial invoice has not been paid. Including the line specification details in written communication to
the shopper is required by law.
Example XML messages that are generated by the SOAP server are included in this manual to illustrate the
required fields as defined by the WSDL. An example line specification request and response can be found in
Examples 1 and 2.
Please note that the order line information SOAP server needs to be available during the lifecycle of a
payment. For example the line specification might also be required in the capture stage or when processing a
refund.
At this moment the URL of your SOAP server returning the invoice lines need to be configured manually by
the Adyen Support department. Please submit this URL to Support at https://support.adyen.com/. We are
currently developing a configuration page in the Adyen Customer Area (CA) similar to the Notification
configuration page.
