Digital Audio Setup
Digital Output
Here you specify the settings for the digital Audio output.
SPDIF/OFF:
K
Output of an analogue Audio signal, but no digital signal.
SPDIF/RAW:
K
Output of a digital Audio signal. Use this setting if your
ampliier is no two-channel stereo ampliier.
SPDIF/PCM:
K
Output of a digital Audio signal that is converted to a
2-channel signal. Use this setting if your ampliier is a two-channel
stereo ampliier.
NOTE:
If there is no Audio output, even though you connected the DVD-
Player to an ampliier, you will most likely have chosen an incorrect
setting for the Audio output.
LPCM Output
Here you can set the sampling rate of the audio signal. Generally speak-
ing, a higher sampling frequency produces a better audio signal.
Equalizer
In these menus you can adjust various sound options to suit your own
personal taste. The optimum setting depends on the consumer and there-
fore cannot be stated here.
NOTE: During iPod/iPhone music playback
If required, you can also change the EQ setting on your iPod/iPhone to
create the optimum sound.
