This device is used for:

Itisintendedexclusivelyforthispurposeandmayonlybe
used as such.
It may only be used in the manner described in these instruc-
tions for use. The device must not be used for commercial
purposes.
Anyotheruseofthisdeviceisconsideredtobecontraryto
the intended use and may result in damage to materials or
even personal injury.

Start-up of the device/Introduction
• Readtheoperatinginstructionsthoroughlybeforethe
start-up!
• Selectanappropriatelocationforthedevice,e.g.adry,
flat, non-slip surface on which the device can be easily
operated.
• Makesurethatthedeviceisadequatelyventilated!
• Connectthespeakersonthebacktotheterminals“R+,
R-andL+,L-”.
• Removetheprotectivelmfromthedisplayifitisstill
present.
Power Supply
• Inserttheplugintoaproperlyinstalled230V,50Hz
power socket.
• Pleaseensurethatthemainsvoltagecorrespondstothe
information on the type plate.
• Turntheunitonbysettingthepowerswitch(24)toON.
Inserting the Batteries
NOTE:
The lithium cell in the battery compartment of the remote
control has been secured for transport with a foil. This
prolongs the lifetime of the battery. Before initial use
please remove this foil so that the remote control is ready
for operation.
The battery of the remote control is a long-life lithium cell. If
the range of the remote control is reduced during use, please
proceed as follows:
• Openthebatterycompartmentonthebackofthe
remote control.
• Replacethecellbyabatteryofthesametype(CR2025).
Ensure correct polarity.
• Thenclosethebatterylid.
If the remote control is not used for a prolonged period,
remove the batteries in order to prevent battery acid leaking.
CAUTION:
Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic
wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collec-
tion bin or at your dealer’s.
WARNING:
• Donotexposethebatteriestohightemperatures
or direct sunlight. Never throw batteries into the fire.
There is a danger of explosion!
• Keepbatteriesawayfromchildren.Theyarenot a toy!
• Donotopenthebatteriesbyforce.
• Avoidcontactwithmetallicobjects.(Rings,nails,screws
et cetera.) There is a danger of short-circuiting!
• As aresultofashort-circuitbatteriesmayheatup
considerably or even catch fire. This may result in burns.
• Foryourownsafetythebatterypolesshouldbecov-
ered with adhesive strips during transport.
• Ifabatteryleaksdonotrubtheliquidintoyoureyesor
mucous membranes. If hands come into contact with
the liquid they should be washed thoroughly and eyes
rinsed out with clear water; if symptoms persist please
consult a doctor.
Setting the Time / Alarm time
• PresstheSETbutton(10ontheremotecontrol).Repeat-
edly pressing the SET button toggles between time,
Alarm1 ,andAlarm2 . The display is flashing
