Earphones Jack

Front Inputs
Turn the Unit Off
Turn your TV set on and follow the user manual for your TV
set.
Connect analog external devices here. You can listen to
connected external sound sources, such as MP3 player, CD
player, etc., via the speakers.
Connect the external device via 3.5mm stereo jack to the
AUDIO IN jack (Fig. 2/25).
Set the FUNCTION selector (Fig. 1/13) to AUDIO IN posi-
tion.
Listen to the external device via the speakers, set the volume
with the VOLUME knob (Fig. 1/14) to the desired level. The
CD buttons are invalid.
For further operation see the user manual of the external
device.
Note:
Set the volume to a reasonable level.
For private listening connect earphones/headphones with
3.5mm stereo jack to the PHONES jack. The speakers are
automatically muted.
USB Port (Front) (Fig. 2/22)
Connect your sound source to the USB port at the front. Use a
USB adapter cable, if necessary.
Memory Card Slot (Front) (Fig. 2/21)
Insert an SD or MMC memory card in the card reader slot at
the front.
MIC IN (Fig. 2/24)
Connect a microphone to enjoy karaoke with your DVD player.
Set the microphone volume with MIC VOL (Fig. 2/23).
To turn the device off, set the FUNCTION selector (Fig. 1/13)
to OFF position and disconnect from mains power supply.
Tune into Radio Station
Set the FUNCTION selector (Fig. 1/13) to RADIO position.
Set the BAND selector (Fig. 1/4) to the desired frequency
band.
Turn the TUNING knob (Fig. 1/3) to tune into your favorite
radio station.
The FM ST. indicator (Fig. 2/17) lights up when receiving
an FM stereo station. If reception is weak the indicator will
icker and reception is noisy. For a better reception of weak
stations we recommend to select FM instead.
Fully extend and direct the telescopic antenna (Fig. 3/27)
for best FM reception.
