Disabling Automatic Synchronization
If you have too many contacts in your phonebook, you can to choose the contacts you want to keep.
To do so, you must disable the automatic synchronization to send the selected contacts via
Bluetooth® manually. To do so:
1. Delete your mobile phone from the paired devices list. Refer to the “Deleting A Phone From The
Paired Devices List ” section for more information.
2. Push the HOME
button, rotate the Control knob to select Settings and push the ENTER
button.
3. Rotate the Control knob to select Telephone and push the ENTER button.
4. Rotate the Control knob to select Special pairing and push the ENTER button.
5. Select Disable automatic sync.
6. Re-pair your mobile phone to the radio. Refer to the “Pairing A Phone” section for more
information.
Phone Pairing
Before pairing your mobile phone with your radio, Bluetooth® must be enabled on your radio.
To Enable Bluetooth®:
1. Push the HOME
button, rotate the CONTROL knob until Settings is selected and push the
ENTER button.
2. Rotate the CONTROL knob until Bluetooth is selected, push the ENTER button.
3. Rotate the CONTROL knob until Visibility is selected, push the ENTER button to activate/
deactivate. A check mark will appear when activated.
NOTE:
The radio is visible via Bluetooth® by default.
Pairing A Phone
Prior to using the radio with your mobile phone for the first time, you must pair your mobile phone
to the radio.
1. From your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth® and search for Bluetooth® devices.
2. Select Asteroid Classic to begin pairing .
NOTE:
The pairing procedure depends on which mobile phone model you have:
• If the mobile phone asks you to enter the Bluetooth® PIN code, enter “0000.”
• If the radio and your mobile phone display two codes, verify that the codes are identical, and
select Pair on your mobile phone.
3. The radio screen will display Pairing completed when connected.
