4. GUARANTEE CLAIMS

4.1. Complaints and claims under the guarantee will be handled by an Alpina dealer. If you have any com-

plaints or any questions about the guarantee, the Alpina dealer is always the  rst party to contact because

that is who your contract of sale was concluded with. The manufacturer will then make a  nal decision on

whether you are able to make a claim under the guarantee for the matter in question. The relevant part or

the bicycle must be sent off by the Alpina dealer with the receipt, clearly stating the frame number.

4.2. If you moved or the Alpina dealer is no longer available, Alpina will refer you to the nearest Alpina dealer.

4.3. The Alpina dealer may charge you for the costs of dismantling or assembling the bicycle.

4.4. The dealer may charge you for the costs of transporting the bicycle and/or the parts to and from Alpina to

your dealer if Alpina rejects the complaint or the guarantee claim on the basis of Alpina’s Safety

instructions & Guarantee conditions.

5. LIABILITY

A claim under these guarantee conditions accepted by Alpina does not constitute acknowledgement of

liability on the part of Alpina for any damage suffered by the owner or by third parties. Without preju-

dice to the provisions of Section 3 of these Guarantee conditions, Alpina’s liability for damage suffered

by you or third parties is limited to the content of this provision. Alpina explicitly rejects any liability for

consequential damage. If the manufacturer of the bicycle proves to be liable for any damage nonetheless,

Alpina’s liability will be limited to the invoice value of the bicycle, unless a compulsory provision provides

otherwise.

6. DISCLAIMER

Alpina has compiled these Safety Instructions and Guarantee Conditions with the greatest possible care.

However, liability cannot be accepted for printing and/or typesetting errors and/or errors in images.
