SETTINGS
From the home screen, select the Setup option to reveal the menu
options for various settings.
17.1 Sound Settings
If you would like to customize the sound quality, you can adjust
the Bass, Treble, and other audio settings to suit your particular
taste. Normally you will do this while listening to music so that you
can hear the changes you make. Simply click on the LEFT function
button Setup while listening to music.
• Once in the Setup screen, move over
to the Sound icon and click again on
ENTER . Use LEFT and RIGHT to
change a parameter’s value. You will
hear these changes instantly.
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to
select a different parameter.
• Click on STOP/ESC
You will return to the Setup screen.
• Click on STOP/ESC again and
you will return to the music playing
screen.
The Sound Parameters
Parameter Description
Built-in Speaker Turns on and off the built-in speaker. Same as long press on
the center function button.
Volume 32 levels of volume (0-31).
Bass 10 levels. Decreases or Increases the low frequencies.
Treble 10 levels. Decreases or Increases the high frequencies.
Balance 10 levels. Favors the right or left channel of the Stereo signal
Bass Boost 10 levels. Increases the very low frequencies
Reset button Readjusts all settings to their default values
17.2 Play Mode Settings
If you would like the AV400 to play through an entire folder of
options, you can set these parameters in the PlayMode settings.
• Click on STOP/ESC to return to the AV400 main menu and click
on Setup. Or, while listening to a song click the LEFT function button
Setup.
