6. EVERYDAY USE OF YOUR RECEIVER
6.1 ACCESS TO CHANNELS
When you are in video mode, there are different ways of moving through the list of channels:
• Use the CH+ and CH- buttons, to move through the current list in ascending or descending order,
and the keys (FAV+)5 AND (FAV-)6 to scan through the last favourites list used.
• Using the list of programmes, accessible by means of the LIST button.
Then press the SEL button to choose the type of list (programme, favourites or radio), then use the keys 3
and 4 to go to the different windows : SATELLITES, BOUQUETS and TV PROGRAMMES.
Use keys 5 and 6 to select the satellite, the programme or the bouquet. To go to the analogue programme,
go to the list of bouquets and select ANLG “NAME OF SATELLITE”. The analogue programmes on the
satellite concerned will be displayed in the list of programmes. Scan through this list and press OK on the
programme desired.
The I+ key enables you to view the technical parameters of the channel selected.
You can also use the SEL button directly, without selecting the list. In this case, you move directly from
one list to the other.
• Using your mini-guide (see 6.4)
Using the numerical keypad to enter the number of the channel desired in the current list.
If you have a motorised dish, moving from one channel to another on two different satellites will be done
automatically, with a certain lapse of time required for the dish to rotate.
6.2 RADIO MODE
You have two ways of accessing the list of radios directly in the video mode.
• Either by using the LIST button, then by pressing the SEL button several times, until you reach the
radio screen.
• Or directly by pressing the SEL button several times, until you reach the radio screen.
To benefit fully from the digital sound, connect the audio outlets on your receiver to your Hi-Fi unit (see Installation
at the beginning of the manual).
