Kitchen timer / Egg timer

Every cooking zone has its own individual kitchen timer.

 ese can

be used simultaneously.

Next to that there is an egg timer. Both the

kitchen timer and the egg timer can be set to a maximum of

99 minutes.

 e egg timer functions in the same way as the kitchen timer, but isn’t

linked to a cooking zone.  e set egg timer keeps going after the hob

has been switched oﬀ .  e egg timer can only be switched oﬀ when

the hob is switched on.

 e kitchen timer  e egg timer

 e kitchen timer can be linked

to a cooking zone.  is means the

cooking zone switches oﬀ if the set

time has passed.

 e egg timer cannot be linked to

a cooking zone.  e set egg timer

keeps going after the hob has been

switched oﬀ .

Switching on the egg timer

 e hob is switched on.

Simultaneously press the 1.

and button of the kitchen/egg

timer once.

‘00.’ appears on the display and the red light in the middle under the

display ﬂ ashes.

2. With the

or button, set the desired time.

 e egg timer will start when the dot next to the set time disappears.

 e red light in the middle under the display keeps ﬂ ashing.

If you do not set a time with the

and button, the egg timer

will automatically switch oﬀ after 10 seconds.

Switching oﬀ the egg timer

(Step 1 and 2 do not apply when one or more cooking zones are active).

1. Press the on-/oﬀ button

of hob.

2. Simultaneously press the

and button of the kitchen/egg timer.

 e dot next to the set time will light.

3. Press and hold the

button of the kitchen/egg timer until ‘01.’

appears on the display. Press the

button again.

 e egg timer is now in the stand-by mode.  e egg timer

automatically switches oﬀ after 10 seconds.

OPERATION

Assigning and switching on the kitchen timer

 e kitchen timer can only be linked to active cooking zones.

 e hob is switched on.

1. Simultaneously press the

and button of the kitchen/egg

timer twice to switch, clockwise, to the ﬁ rst active cooking zone

(in this illustration the kitchen timer of the back left zone is

active). With every simultaneous touch of the

and button,

you go to the kitchen timer of the next active cooking zone, you

can then set this kitchen timer and see it.

2. With the

or button, set the desired cooking time.

 e kitchen timer will start when the dot next to the set time

disappears.  e red light of the kitchen timer of the active cooking

zone will keep ﬂ ashing.

If you do not set a time with the

and button, the kitchen

timer will automatically switch oﬀ after 10 seconds.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to set the kitchen timer for another active

cooking zone.

Switching oﬀ the kitchen timer

1. Simultaneously press the

and button of the kitchen/egg

timer (several times) to choose the correct kitchen timer you want

to switch oﬀ .

 e dot next to the set time will light.

2. Press and hold the

button of the kitchen/egg timer until ‘01.’

appears on the display. Again press the

button.

 e kitchen timer is now in the stand-by mode.  e selected kitchen

timer automatically switches oﬀ after 10 seconds.

Switching oﬀ the alarm of the kitchen/egg timer

When the set time/cooking time has passed the alarm goes oﬀ while the red

light of the active cooking zone/egg timer and ‘00’ will keep ﬂ ashing.

1. Press any operation button to switch oﬀ the alarm.

Attention

If several kitchen/egg timers are active, the kitchen/egg timer

always shows the display of the kitchen/egg timer with the least

remaining time.
