VIDEO SIGNAL STRENGTH

• Within the operating range when the video signal strength icon shows full 6 bars, a colorful and smooth

image can be seen on screen. As the distance between the baby and parent unit increases , the signal

strength icon will show less no. of bars and the image becomes less smooth.

• If the video is becomes out of range, the image becomes still and the screen shows the text “No signal or

Out of Range”. Such text remains to be seen on the screen whenever the baby continues to make sound,

otherwise the screen will turn dark once the baby becomes silent. the baby unit will stop the video signal

transmission to avoid unnecessary radiation to the baby.

• The audio range is much longer, thanks to its analogical technology : the audio function keeps working,

even when the text “No signal or out of range” appears on screen.

• Whenever the parent unit is totally outside audio communication range of baby unit the Out-of-range alert

function will provide an audible alarm. The LED level meter (16) also flashes simultaneously. Under this

condition, the parents now lose contact with the baby, both for video and audio signal. Once the parent

unit falls back within the communication range and can receive audio signal, the audible alarm stops

automatically.

IMAGE ACTIVATION

• To minimize the radiation level to baby, this baby monitor is incorporated with VOX function. This means

both video and audio signal are only transmitted whenever the baby makes a sound. Once the baby

stops making sound, the screen will become dark 15 sec later. The screen remains dark and the speaker

is muted when the baby continue to keep silent. This also helps to prolong the battery life.

• If you wish to see the image of baby while there is no signal, press the camera remote control button (21)

to switch on camera. The camera on/off indicator (20) lights up red accordingly and the image of baby will

be shown on screen. Press again the camera remote control button (21) to switch off the camera.

We recommend not to keep the camera on permanently, to minimize the radiations around baby.

NB : this button will have no function when the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter. The VOX function

is activated, showing the image of the baby on the screen. The remote control becomes operating when

no more sound is transmitted.

• Flip

Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select between standard size image or 200% zoom. Press Menu button

(12) to confirm your choice.

• Temperature

Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select between display in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Press Menu button

(12) to confirm your choice.

Use Up/Down Buttons (13) to select between display in Centigrade

or Fahrenheit. Press Menu button (12) to confirm your choice.
