Problem cause Solution
The door does not open. The door lock is activated due to the
water level in the machine.
• Drain the water from the machine by
running the Pump or Spin programme.
The machine is heating the water or is in
the spin cycle.
• Wait for the program to complete.
The loading door must be blocked
because of the pressure it is under.
• Grasp the handle, push and pull the
loading door, then release it and open it.
If there is no power supply, the
loading door of the device does not
open.
• To open the loading door, open
the pump filter cap and push the
emergency handle on the back of
the cap. Refer to the “Loading
door lock” section
Washing takes longer
than expected
in the manual
of use.(*)
The water pressure is low. • The machine waits until an adequate
amount of water is drawn in order to
avoid poor quality washing due to low
water quantity. This is the reason why
the washing time is prolonged.
The voltage is low. • The washing time is extended to
avoid poor washing results when the
power supply voltage is low.
Water inlet temperature is low. • The time required for water heating
is extended during cold seasons.
Furthermore, the washing time can
be extended to avoid poor washing
results.
The number of rinses and/or the amount of
rinse water has increased.
• The machine increases the
amount of rinse water when a
good rinse is needed and adds an
extra rinse step if needed.
Too much suds have formed and the
automatic suds absorption system has
been activated due to excessive
detergent use.
• Use the recommended amount
of detergent.
The program duration
does not perform any
counting process. (On
models with display) (*)
The timer may stop while drawing
water.
• The timer indicator will not count
down until the machine takes in an
adequate amount of water. The
machine will wait until there is
enough water, to avoid poor
washing results due to lack of water.
The timer indicator will resume
counting down after this.
The timer could stop during the
heating phase.
• The timer indicator will not
count down until the machine
reaches the selected
temperature.
The timer could stop during the
spin phase.
• An unbalanced load automatic
detection system is activated due to
uneven distribution of laundry in
the drum.
