! Vital information
• The child seat MUST NOT be installed in a front passenger
seat WITH AN ACTIVATED AIRBAG.
• This seat can only be installed in a car equipped with ISOfix
anchorage points.
• For the suitable positions in the car, read the vehicle handbook.
• Read the car list to find out whether your car model is approved for this
seat. The latest update of the carlist can be found on the BeSafe website
www.besafe.com. If your car is not present in the carlist, please contact
BeSafe for further information.
• iZi Turn B i-Size is approved rear facing for children with a stature height
from 40 to 105 cm, with a maximum weight up to 18 kg and forward
facing for children with a stature height from 88 to 105 cm with a
maximum weight up to 18 kg.
• Important: Do not use forward facing before the child is over 15 months.
• When driving with a child sitting in the seat, the seat must always be in
the (rear facing) driving direction of the vehicle. Never drive with the seat
rotated to the side when a child is sitting in the seat.
It is recommended not to drive with the seat rotated to the side when the
seat is empty.
• When using the seat with the baby insert and driving without a child in
the seat, it’s recommended to lock the harness straps.
• BeSafe recommends to use the seat for as long as possible in the rear
facing position.
• The harness straps must always be locked when the child is in the seat.
• The harness straps must be tightened without slack and not twisted.
• The shoulder pads contain magnets. Magnets can influence electronic
equipment such as pacemakers.
• Protect any part of the child’s body which is exposed to the sun.
• The floor support must always be used. Make sure that the floor support
is fully pushed down until it touches the floor of the vehicle in front of the
seat and that the seat is positioned horizontal in the vehicle with the spirit
level in the middle. The indicators of the floor support should always
show green.
• We recommend to use the baby insert only in the most reclined position
till a stature height of 87 cm.
• Remove the baby cushion including the white wedge, when the child is
taller than 60 cm or older than 4 months.
• Remove the baby insert, when the child is taller than 87 cm.
• After an accident, the seat must be replaced. Although it may look
undamaged, if you were to have another accident, the seat may not be
able to protect your child to the level to which it was designed.
• Prevent the seat from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage,
seats and/or slamming doors.
• Make sure to tighten the harness extremely well, so that you can no
longer make a fold in the belts. When you tighten the harness, make sure
that the child is positioned well against the backrest.
• DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add any part to the seat.
Warranty will be void if non-original parts or accessories are used.
• Never leave your child unattended in the seat.
• Make sure all passengers are informed about how to release your child in
case of emergency.
• Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured. Unsecured
luggage may cause severe injuries to children and adults in case of
accidents.
• Never use the seat without the cover. The cover is a safety feature and
may only be replaced by an original BeSafe cover.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning products; these may harm the
construction material of the seat.
• BeSafe advises that child seats should not be bought or sold second-
hand.
• KEEP this user manual for later use with the seat.
• Remove the battery insulation sheet from the battery compartment
before installing iZi Turn B i-Size for the first time (Not on all models).
• Even when the installation screen is not functioning, the seat is safe
to use, when installation is done according the user
instructions and all indicators show green (Not on all
models).
• The 2 x AA /LR6 (1,5 V) batteries can be replaced from
the bottom side of the battery compartment. Do not use
rechargeable batteries (Not on all models).
• Keep all batteries out of reach of children (Not on all
models).
• Do not use old batteries or batteries that show signs of leakage or cracks
(Not on all models).
• DO NOT use the seat for longer than 7 years. Due to ageing, the quality of
the material may change.
• DO NOT use at home. It has not been designed for home use and can only
