GENERAL INFORMATION
Capacity: The BIELMEIER preserving cooker
has a capacity of 27 litres. The level of liquid
in the cooker must be no higher than 4 cm
below the rim.


The appliance is designed to be used for pre-
serving food, making juice and preparing hot
drinks only.
Do not heat or boil foods with a thick, vi-
scous consistency in the appliance directly.
Unlike the enamel and stainless steel versi-
ons, the plastic appliance has an open bot-
tom and the heating element is uncovered.
Caution! Risk of scalding and/or burns,
when improper use!
Never grasp into the pot (2), if the appliances
is plugged or if was running a short time ago.
CLEANING
Never immerse the appliance in water! Un-
plug from the mains, wipe down the exteri-
or and wash out the interior. Limescale de-
posits can be removed by regular descaling
with a mixture of vinegar and water or a com
-
mercial descaler, followed by boiling of a pot
full of clean water.
Skim cleaning emulsion in the pot (2) or drain
it by the tap (10) - if available. Never tilt the
device!
Clean the tap (10) occasionally with hot wa-
ter, which can be mixed with a cleaning agent.

If after starting the temperature setting mode and
changing the temperature by means of the .Minus'
or,Plus' button no entry is made for5 seconds, the
temperature setting mode is left and the applian-
ce returns to the operating mode.
