The cookware base is fully resting, and the lid closes

properly.

Correct operation of the sensor buttons

The appliance is operated via touch buttons at the

control panel.

• The buttons react to the slightest touch. You do

not need to apply any pressure.

• The appliance reacts best when touching the but-

tons with the fingertips and with dry hands.

• Once a touch has been registered, a brief beep

will sound.

• Ensure that the control panel is always clean and

dry. Objects or a small liquid film can impair oper-

ation.

Power level settings

The settings below are guidelines only. The exact

setting depends on various factors, such as your

cookware and the amount you are cooking. Basically,

the settings are empirical values → use, observe, ad-

just, learn!

foods that burn quickly – gentle simmer-

– stir-frying – searing – bringing soup to

the boil – boiling water

Switching a cooking zone on/off

After connection to the power supply, a signal tone

sounds and all displays light up briefly.

• Place suitable cookware on the respectively cook-

ing zone.

• Switch the appliance on using button (M9).

All displays show [--].

• Select the cooking zone to be used with the re-

spective button (M1) – (M4), the corresponding

display flashes.

• Set a power level from 1 to 9 using buttons (M5)

and/or (M8).
