Amount of Detergent to Use
Based on their chemical composition, dishwasher can be split in two basic types:
Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at di fferent speeds. For this reason some
detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop the ir full cleaning power during short
programmes. Therefore please use long programmes when using detergent tablets, to
ensure the complete removal of detergent residua ls.
The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructi ons
provided in the Wash Cycle Table . Your di shwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid then
conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of de tergent is needed for
a normal wash load. Also, more heavily so iled items need more detergent. Always add the
detergent just be fore starting the dishwas her, otherwise it could get damp and will not
dissolve properly.

Normally new pulverised detergent is with out phosphate. The water so ftener function of
phosphate is not given. In this case we recommend to fill salt in the salt con tainer even when
the hardness of water is only 6 dH. If detergents without phosphate were used in case of ha rd water
often white spots appear at dishes and glasse s. In this cas e please add mo re detergent to reach
better results. Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. Strong and coloured spots will not
removed completely. In this case please choose a programme with higher Temp erature.
