The Stream Magic 6 can access a wide range of audio from DNLA/UPnP
servers or locally connected media or ov er the internet fr om Internet Radio
and Streaming Services.
The free Stream Magic Internet Radio service brings the best iRadio stations
to your Stream Magic 6 check ed by us f or reliability and sound quality with
over 20,000 stations currently a vailable with more being added each da y .
Streaming Services from par tner suppliers are also available. These usually
require a subscription from the supplier and different ser vices are av ailable
in different countries.

The website also allo ws you t o suggest new Stream Magic Radio stations,
manage your fa vourit es and other settings for several Stream Magic enabled
devices at once.
In addition to pure int ernet content you can access y our own locally stored
music from USB ash-disks or hard-drives and network connected DNLA/
UPnP servers.
The major compressed audio f ormats are suppor ted (MP3, AA C, WMA and
V orbis) plus losslessly compressed FLAC and uncom pressed PCM/WA V up t o
'better -than-CD' 2 4 bit content at 2 4-bit/48kHz or 2 4-bit/96kHz which can be
obtained from suitable do wnload sites. Podcasts are also supported.
High quality components are used thr oughout including dual differential
WM8 7 40 2 4-bit/384kHz digital to analogue conv erters (DACs) fr om renowned
manufacturer W olfson.
A proprietary audio buffering, up-sampling and re-clocking scheme to 2 4
bits and 384kHz developed in conjunction with Anagram T echnologies of
Switzerland eliminates jitt er and provides un precedented sound quality .
Digital Inputs are tted to allow you to take advantage of the Stream Magic
6s very high-quality DA C stage with other sources with digital outputs such as
CD/DVD/BD pla yers, digital iPod docks etc.
The optional Cambridge Audio BT1 00 Bluetoo th Adaptor is also supported,
adding wireless streaming audio directly from most phones, tablets and
laptops.
A Digital Preamp mode can be enabled allowing the Stream Magic 6 t o be
connected directly t o a suitable power amp or activ e speakers if desired.
The Stream Magic 6 also features an en vironmentally friendly lo w power
(<0.5w) standby circuit.
A free iPhone/iPod T ouch/iPad application is available that allo ws full
wireless control of the Stream Magic 6 (in conjunction with a Wi-Fi netw ork).

The Stream Magic 6 is largely a software based product and new features
and updates will be made available from time to time. See the Upgrade
Firmware section at the end of this manual for how to check for and then
automatically update your unit via the internet. The process takes only a
few minutes.
We would encourage you to chec k for any updat es before using y our
Stream Magic 6 for the rst time and then from time to time afterwards.
