SPECIAL FEATURES
A. Door within a door connection (all models)
(If this feature is not installed, the jumper must remain intact.) If
installed, the door must be closed during door within a door operation,
and wiring must be correct. Remove jumper from terminal leads.
Replace with contact switch leads as shown.
B. Flashing light connection (all models)
The flashing light can be installed anywhere. Connect FLA230 light
leads to terminals. When the opener is activated, the light will begin to
flash two seconds before the door moves, and continue flashing while
the door is in motion. See flashing light instructions.
C. Coaxial antenna adapter (all models)
A coaxial antenna connection can be used if the transmitter range is
too short. Cut off the existing antenna. Use standard coax cable.
Strip off end of insulation to 250mm. Reposition antenna.
D. Timer for auto close (Models 800, 1000)
Shipped in OFF position. To activate, must install The Protector
System™, then cut diode at control panel. Timer can be set to close
door 60, 120, or 180 seconds after opening (minimum close time is
30 seconds). If the Protector beam is interrupted, auto close time will
reset.
NOTE: Cutting the diode places the unit into a fail-safe mode, and it
will operate only if The Protector System™ is installed.
E. External radio feature (Models 800, 1000)
To supply power to an external radio receiver or accessory.
