responsibilityofthedrivertocheckwhetherthisfeaturecanbeusedduringthetrip.
The software is capable of showing and warning for more than just cameras. Various other types of
proximityalertpointslikeschoolzonesandrailroadcrossingsarealsoavailable.
Route
A sequence of r oute events, i.e. maneuvers (for example, turns and traffic c ircles) to reach the
destination.Theroutecontainsonestartpointandoneormoredestinations.Thestartpointisthecurrent
(orlastknown)positionbydefault.Ifyouneedtoseeafutureroute,thestartpointcanbereplacedwith
anyothergivenpoint.
Track-upmaporientation
InTrack-upmodethe map is rotated so its top alwayspointsinthe currentdrivingdirection.Thisis the
defaultorientationin3Dmapviewmode.
Vehimarker
The current position is shown with a red arrow on the map by default. T he direction of the red arrow
shows the current heading. This position marker can be replaced with different vehicle and pedestrian
symbols. You can even specify different Vehimarkers for different route types (depending on which
vehicletypeisselectedforroutecalculation).
