Setting the sound level of the desired channel
Setting the sound level
Press [LEVEL] button.

Press [LEVEL] button to select a desired speaker to set.
Each time you press the [LEVEL] button, it changes in the following order;
FL (Front Left) ➝ CT (Center) ➝ FR (Front Right) ➝ SL (Surround Left) ➝ SR (Surround
Right) ➝ WF (Subwoofer).

Setting the Balance between each channel by using the test tone
Select the test tone mode by pressing
[PLAY/PAUSE] button.
A hiss noise comes out for 2 seconds from each
speakers in the following order;
FL (Front Left) ➝ CT (Center) ➝ FR (Front Right) ➝
SL (Surround Left) ➝ SW (Subwoofer) ➝ SR
(Surround Right) ➝ ...

To adjust the sound level and delay time, press ❚

Repeat step 2-3 and adjust the sound level of the other channels.
On completing entering, the screen of sound level will be disappear
in 5 seconds.

■ In Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic mode by using the test tone function you can easily
adjust the sound balance of the speakers from the listener’s position in DVD initial setup
mode. (speaker setup)
