PIZZA
Ingredients
300 gr. dough
350 gr. firm and ripe tomatoes
200 gr. mozzarella (kind of Italian cheese
originally made from cow-buffalo s milk)
oregano
olive oil
coarse salt
Preparation
1. Lavare, pelare e tagliuzzare i pomodori
dopWash and peel tomatoes and chop cut
them after getting rid of seeds. Cut mozzarella
in ribbons. Put a large and low roasting pan in
the oven and pre-heat it for 7 minutes.
2. Put the dough on a large and heavy grea-
se proof sheet and spread it in order to make
a disk 24 cm. diameter and about 1 cm. thick.
Then lightly grease it with a little olive oil.
3. Remove the hot roasting pan from the
oven and turn the dough upside-down,
removing the paper . Return the roasting pan
to the oven at the maximum heat with
COMBI function for 3 minutes. Then turn it
with a wooden spatula and spread on it
tomatoes and mozzarella and dust everything
with a pinch of salt and a pinch of
oregano. Sprinkle with little olive oil.
4. Return to the oven set at the maximum
heat and cook for 5-8 minutes, then serve it
hot.
5. If you prefer a pizza au gratin set the
GRILL function for the last 3 minutes of the
cooking time.
NOTE: Pizza is a typical Italian dish. Accor-
ding to preference, it is possible to add diffe-
rent ingredients to the base recipe in order to
obtain various kind of pizza .
