We are delighted that you have decided on this LED TV back-

light.

Before using the device for the ﬁ rst time, read through the inst-

ructions carefully and retain the instructions. They form an integral

part of the device. If you have any questions, contact the customer

ry. Read through the associated safety notices carefully

WARNING

warns of possible serious injuries and danger to

CAUTION warns of slight to moderate injuries

Intended Use

• This product is suitable for use as a backlight for TV sets or

similar.

• The product is exclusively designed for use in dry indoor

spaces. The device is not suitable for use in damp spaces, e.g.

bathrooms.

• The product is not a toy!

• The product is designed for private household use and is not

intended for commercial use.

• Only use the product as instructed. Any other use is deemed

improper.

• Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts

at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

■ WARNING – Danger of Suffocation from plastic foils and

bags! Keep the packaging material away from children and

animals.

■ WARNING – Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the con-

nector cables are always out of the reach of small children and

animals.

WARNING – Danger of Fire and Explosion! The device is

not authorised for use in potentially explosive areas.

■ WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries

can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the device out

of the reach of small children and animals. If a battery is swal-

lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

■ CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery

leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid, and wear

protective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse

the affected area with abundant fresh water immediately and

contact a doctor as soon as possible.

■ CAUTION – Danger of Dazzling! Do not look directly into the

light source! Your eyes could be injured.

■ CAUTION – Danger of falling! Lay the cables so that they do

not pose a tripping hazard.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

■ Only connect the product to a device that complies with the

product’s technical speciﬁ cations.

■ Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in the “Technical Data”.

■ Take batteries out of the remote control when they are dead or

if you will not be using the product for a prolonged period. This

will prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

■ Do not use the remote control if a battery has leaked. Clean

the battery compartment immediately with a damp cloth and

then dry it.

■ Batteries must not be charged or reactivated in any way, di-

sassembled, thrown into a ﬁ re, immersed in liquids or short-

circuited.

■ Do not immerse the product or the remote control in water or

expose it to persistent moisture!

■ Protect the product and the remote control from: impacts, ﬁ re,

heat, direct sunlight, sub-zero temperatures.

■ Do not use any additional accessories not recommended by

the manufacturer.

■ Do not lay or place any heavy objects on the product or the

remote control.

■ In the event of damage / faults, switch the product off immedi-

ately. Do not use the product if it is damaged.

■ Do not make any changes to the product and do not attempt to

repair it. In the event of any damage, please contact our custo-

mer service department.

■ Always mount the product on a dry surface at a sufﬁ cient dis-

tance to ﬂ ammable objects and sources of heat like stovetops,

ovens, heaters.

■ Do not place any containers ﬁ lled with liquids, e.g. vases, on or

directly next to the product and cables.

■ Make sure that the connector cables do not get pinched,

kinked or laid over sharp edges and do not come into contact

with hot surfaces.

■ The LEDs can’t be replaced.

■ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to clean

the product. They could damage the surface. When needed,

wipe the product off with a soft, dry cloth.
