Intended Use

• The product is intended to be used to hang up laundry.

• The product can be used both indoors and outdoors.

• The product is designed for personal use only and is not in-

tended for commercial applications. Use the product only for

the intended purpose and as described in the operating in-

structions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

Safety Notices

■ Keep children and animals away from plastic bags and ﬁ lms.

There is a danger of suﬀ ocation.

■ The product is NOT a toy! Make sure that children do not hang

on the product.

■ Make sure that the laundry is spread around evenly when it is

hung up to prevent any injuries and material damage. Do not

overload the line!

■ Protect the product from heat, naked ﬂ ames, extreme temper-

ature ﬂ uctuations and impacts.

■ Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Do not

use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents.

PLEASE NOTE!

■ Use the fastening material supplied to hang up the product. If

you are unsure whether the fastening material supplied is suit-

able for the wall, seek advice from a specialist stockist.

■ Hang the product in a secure and solid position.

■ Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind

the intended drilling point.

1. Mark out two drill holes.

2. Drill holes into the wall and place dowels in them.

3. Twist the small screw into the right hole until just the screw

head is left protruding from the wall.

4. Hang the product up on the screw.

5. Pull the rail out a little and adjust the non-return lock (see the

“Use” chapter).

6. Place the long screw through the housing into the left drill hole

and screw it tight. Make sure that the product ﬁ ts securely, even

when the rail is pulled out at the front.

7. Pull the rail out of the housing and pull it across to the opposite

wall, a wide post or similar object in order to mark the drill holes

for the hooks.

8. Drill holes and place dowels and hooks in them.

Use

1. Pull out the wheel to release the locking mechanism.

2. Pull the rail out of the housing to the length you want and push

the wheel against the housing (non-return lock). This ensures

that the line cannot retract again.

3. Secure the rail by means of the recesses on the hooks on the

opposite wall.

4. Hang up the laundry in the usual way.

5. To wind the line back up again, take the rail oﬀ the hooks. Pull

the wheel out again and the line will automatically be pulled

into the housing. Hold the rail securely as this happens to avoid

any “whiplash” eﬀ ect.

6. Make sure that the rail sits correctly in the housing to prevent

any wetness, dirt or insects getting inside the housing.

7. Push the wheel against the housing to lock the rail.

Tip: If the line gets jammed or no longer retracts cleanly, it can

also be wound up and unwound manually using the wheel.
