■ 4.3.2 What do you do in an emergency?

Press the emergency button on the back of the mobile phone, either for 3
seconds or 3 times in 3 seconds. (The emergency button also functions when
the key lock is active.)
D If you want to stop or cancel the emergency call, press
for 3 seconds.

.3.3 What happens after pressing the emergency button??
D
By pressing the emergency button, the emergency numbers you have
previously saved will be automatically dialled in the given sequence. (The
emergency button also functions when the key lock is on.) The mobile phone
switches on the hands free function at full volume and at the same time, the
person called will be informed by the sending of an emergency SMS that an
emergency call is coming through and that the “0” button must be pressed
during the first minute of the call.
D As soon as the first person receives your emergency call, this person must
press the “0” button during the first minute of the call (not you, as the person
making the emergency call!). The emergency call cycle will be stopped by
doing so. This means the remaining emergency numbers will no longer be
called and the current emergency call lasts until the conversation between
the interlocutors comes to an end.
D If you are called within an hour of the start of the emergency call function,
the telephone automatically takes each incoming call. If you would like to
stop the “automatic reception up to 1 hour after emergency call” function
you must switch your mobile phone off and then switch it on again (For safety
reasons, only pressing

q Please note:
D To stop the emergency call, keep depressed for 3 seconds.
D The pressing of “0” by the person receiving the emergency call (not the call
maker / sender of the emergency call) ensures, that your emergency call
does not end up being unheard on an answering machine/Mobile box or
Mailbox.
D Your call number will always be displayed during the emergency call, even
if you have selected Withhold Number when making settings.
