7. Place the power plug (Figure 13, pos. 2) into
an earthed wall socket that is easily
accessible. Use an earthed wall socket with a
minimum power of 1800 Watt.
Installation to heat
1. Follow the instructions for ‘Installation to cool’. The device then works in reverse. The
cold air is discharged outside through the exhaust hose and the warm air is blown into
the room.
2. If heating for a longer period, install the water drain hose (Figure 14).
Installation to dehumidify
1. Make sure the device is switched off and the
plug is removed from the power outlet
(Figure 14, pos. 1).
2. Remove the rubber plug from the drain of the
device and keep it in a safe place.
3. Connect the included water drain hose to the
drain of the device (Figure 14, pos. 2).
4. Place the outlet of the water drain hose in a
bucket (Figure 14, pos. 3).
5. Regularly check the water level in the bucket
the end of the hose should not be immersed
in water.
In the dehumidifying mode it is not necessary to
mount the hot air outlet hose.
