marked spot and insert a plug. Now hang the heater in place and screw the
bracket to the wall, as shown in the diagram. The heater is now installed.
Using for the first time and Operation
Make sure that the main switch is OFF (O)
Unroll the electrical cable entirely and insert the plug
into a suitable 220/240V socket.
Set the main switch to ON (l). The display will show “S”
(standby).
The unit and the remote control have some common buttons with the same
function. The weekly programme, temperature and the open window detection can
only be set up using the remote control.
Operation using buttons on unit or remote control:
Press the on/off button ; the unit will start
ventilating and the display will show “- -“.
Press the function button once; the unit will start
heating on low power and the display will show Fig. A.
Press the button again and the unit will start heating on
full power and the display will show Fig. B.
You can set a delayed start time
using the timer button . Set the
unit to standby (S) and press the
timer button. Each time you press
the timer button, one hour is added
to the start time. The display shows
the number of hours set and counts
down at the end of each hour. The
timer lamp also switches on. The unit starts automatically
at the end of the set time. The standard temperature is
23°C (note it is not possible to set the thermostat using
the buttons).
If the weekly programme is not set and if no temperature
has been set using the remote control, the unit will switch
off automatically after 12 hours.
Only using the remote control:
Set the day and time:
Make sure that the unit is in standby mode (S) (use the main switch). You can
also set the day and time while the unit is switched on.
Press the SET button once; the display now shows “12”. Use the plus and
minus buttons / to set the hour (from 1 to 23). Press SET again to
see the minutes. The display shows “30” and you can use the plus and minus
buttons to set the number of minutes, from 00 to 59.
